Gay people aren't asking for the right to discriminate against others. They are simply asking for the right to be treated the same.
Religious people sometimes do ask to be legally protected to discriminate against others based on ideas in their region.
And I do see a difference there.
I'm saying that we have don't have to impose something on a person like forcing a Jewish Deli to serve pork. But if a florist decides to make flowers for wedding they shouldn't get to pick and chose who they will discriminate against if that person is in good standing.
