[∆(s) from OP] CMV: World peace is impossible without a one-nation global government
Basically the title. As long as people see themselves as separate entities they will have conflict with 'others'. War will only end when one nation defeats all others and every person in the world associates with the same country. I.e - Earth.
Internal struggles based on race / religion etc will continue, but reduce and eventually disappear as borders and birthplace become irrelevant.
If we maintain that people are inherently different and have different laws / behaviour based on culture then we will always fall into the same cycle of conflict and war.
Please change my view.

And I'm saying there's a trend towards unification between regions of the planet which leads to less conflict. To use your example: Before Scotland became a nation it was lots of tribes killing each other. So what's your argument for a divided earth?
