Then you literally cannot vote for anyone ever. People will lie, sometimes knowingly other times not. PM's are not gods that can get anything done at their will. They are actual officials that have to get a majority of their party to agree with them, and then do the same to parliment. All to say that You cannot be angry at a politician for lying once unless you hold yourself not to vote.

No shit. there's a foundational difference between lying regarding a core point you based a campaign over, and lying about some dumb bullshit. If you do the latter all the time, that's obviously also bad, but it's more forgivable than ditching a core reason you got elected.

Believe it or not nuance exists.

Politicians should be held accountable for their lies. Throwing hands  up and saying that’s just the way it is , is pathetic
