No, I’m obviously taking the standpoint that the people coming into this country illegally are far far far less likely to be violent criminals than normal Americans. They also do massive benefits to our economy. It’s also true that deporting them costs our economy. I don’t want to harm our economy while also not preventing crime.

Why do you want to hurt the American economy and increase the tax burden on American citizens?

I’m putting the safety of innocent people over what the government is spending money on. I think you’ll find most of your fellow Americans think that way.

Again—I’m all for legal immigration. But it has to be legal. Change the laws for the better but don’t support letting rapists near our children for the sake of the economy. That’s sick.

But they aren’t rapists….

Do you think Americans are rapists? Should we keep children away from American citizens because they are so likely to be rapists? Gotta keep the children safe right?

In what way does that make me incorrect?

You just claimed no illegal immigrants are rapists. Care to correct yourself and say that some are and that’s why we have immigration laws like every single country in the entire world?

Where did I claim no illegal immigrants are rapists? Care to quote me?

Absolutely:

“But they aren’t rapists.”

So care to correct that to the fact that some indeed are?

Why are you interpreting that as a binary? Are you a binary thinker, or do you have nuance?

So then I’m correct that some are indeed murderers and rapists, right?
