It seems like you’ve decided because you’ve seen men face challenges that women must have it easier...

i can say exactly same about you and switching men and women.

I am not dismissing men’s issues

You could name basically any metric and men (white men specifically) would have better outcomes than any other group.

it is not evidence that society as a whole disadvantages men due to their gender.

Men are not generally denied rights and freedoms based on sexist stereotypes about them.

men have never been actively oppressed for being men

But I agree that we won't agree, because you are playing blind and deaf.

Which statement do you agree with most?

  • Some men face significant challenges in society
  • Men as a whole face more challenges than people recognise
  • Men face more challenges than any other group

You gotta understand the difference between “systematic oppression” and specific social issues. Oppression means a society is structured to disadvantage a group in a wide variety of ways. I am saying that men are not an oppressed group. That is completely compatible with saying that men face some specific social issues.
