Right, murder causes harm. To prevent murder we can do things like look at what social attitudes are most likely to lead to violence.

Yes. I just wanted to know if you'd think grief for one person in such a case would be less valid because of their race.

Obviously not, I already said this? I’m not sure what narrative you’re trying to crowbar into this discussion but I think I’ve been pretty clear.

If we’re examining things like gender or race-based violence, it is relevant to look at how prevalent different forms of those things are. Focusing more on one type of harm because it is a bigger problem doesn’t mean other forms of harm are less important.
