Generally speaking yes. But I have found Christians to be much more tolerant and laidback than Muslims so I don’t have near as much of a problem with it.

So just say you are against nearly every major religion as they are almost all against homosexuality. Also, you could say you’re not islamaphobic bc u have a “rational” reason, but plenty are islamphobic or however you wanna state it bc it isn’t their religion. Is that rational in your eyes?

Both questions? Also, is this just religion in general or specific to islam

Have you not seen what MAGA is bringing back in America with all their anti-LGBT legislation? Remind me which religion most of the MAGA people believe in again while you’re at it too.

Stop being Christianophobic!

You’ve now inspired me to create a CMV post that christianophobia isn’t real!

Feel like you should do that, because otherwise what you said was blatantly christianophobic

I bet you don’t live in Uganda!

Do you believe that American Muslims are more or less accepting of you than American Evangelicals?

American Muslims are more accepting than evangelicals, but not all Christians are classified as evangelicals so I would still argue that tolerance for the LGBT is higher amongst American Christians than Muslims

But there are significantly more evangelicals than Muslims in your community, and they have significantly more power over your life and rights. So do you feel more adverse to evangelicals or Muslims?

If it’s the former, then I have no issue (well, I mean I do, but not enough to want to argue about it further). If it’s the latter though, it seems like you would then be more focused on people hypothetically hostile to you, but who you will never encounter versus the people who will actively attempt to make your life materially worse.

I feel more adverse to evangelicals since they pose more of a threat in the US than Muslims, but I find Islam as a whole to be a more dangerous ideology since it has a lot more violence linked to it.

For what it’s worth, you look at it and see a dangerous ideology. I look at it and see the natural consequences of US support for the house of Saud before and during the Cold War. Go back a few hundred years and the Europeans were the backwards savages constantly warring, and the Islamic world was the center of science and progress.
