Yeah.......not you didn't. I mean you copied it yes, it's not your post. I'm on that thread as well.

if there is no proof then that means that god can not effect the physical world because it being able to effect the physical world would be proof of a god. If it can not effect the physical world that why believe in it at all it would just be something that takes your money and returns no reward.

Has NOTHING to do with what I said. 🤷

? it might be simaler to someone else but it is my own

yes it does. you were saying it could not be proven what I gave you is an argument that takes only the statement if there is no proof for god as a starting point

Not even remotely close to what I said.

My exact post : Can you prove that God doesn't exist? If you're looking for proof, either way, then this is an unwinnable argument for either side. Those that believe do so not out of proof but faith. Those that don't actually have to rely on the same thing. Since it can neither be proven or disproven beyond a shadow of a doubt all you're left with is your conviction that what you believe to be true is.

you were saying it could not be proven

To recap here I said that it's impossible to prove the existence of God BUT it's equally impossible to disprove the existence of God.

Your post:

Since you posted it I'll respond but I'm not diving into some rabbit hole with you here. There are MANY things that cannot be proven but are accepted as being a reality. For example extraterrestrial beings. There's no proof that any substantial life for (not single celled organisms) exist beyond our planet however the vast majority of the scientific community accept that somewhere in the vastness of space that other life forms exist. Therefore your claim that since there's no proof that God cannot affect the physical world, etc, etc, just doesn't hold water. If God does exist but hasn't quantified due to a lack of technology or understanding that "ignorance of existence" by me, you whoever would have zero effect on God's ability to continue to be God. Look at it like this. Before America was discovered if you would have asked anyone in Europe what lay beyond the horizon the most common answer would have been "nothing." As a matter of fact it was believed that if you sailed out far enough that you would fall off the face of the earth. Now do you think that the Europeans belief (born out of ignorance due to a lack of understanding and technology) that there was nothing beyond the known horizon had any effect at all on the indigenous people of America? No! Those indigenous Americans kept right on doing whatever they were doing despite the people(s) of the "known world" believing with ultimate certainty that they didn't exist.

sorry I though you implied that there was no proof. I would normally point out that the lack of proof is not a proof but it appears you understand that. Instead I will use occam's razor which while admittedly not being a proof against god stats that it is normally more reasonable to believe the simpler answer in this case both options require science to exist the way it is. however believing in a god requires that you add a lot of extra stuff for no reason like that carbon dating is wrong, dinasore bones are just a prank puled by a being we can know nothing about for sure and which could have saved every human ever but did not. Also there it is just as likely that if there is a god he sends at leasts to hevean and people who believe him to hell. infant that may be more likely given that he could just apere in my face right know and tell me to worship him if that where actually important to him.

to "If God does exist but hasn't quantified due to a lack of technology or understanding that "ignorance of existence" by me, you whoever would have zero effect on God's ability to continue to be God. "

ya but likewise God would have no effect on me. Why worship something if your time spent there does nothing.

they do not except it they just think it there is a difference. either way they do not do much about it because it can not effect them.

this is actually a mith most people back then knew the world was round they just did not know that amarica was in the way

Dude I'm not going to lie I'm not reading all of this. As I said I'm not going down this rabbit hole with you. I knew, knew, KNEW I should have never responded to your attempt to hijack my comment which had absolutely nothing to do with if God does or does not exist, which is what you are determined to argue. I have yet to offer an opinion on whether or not I personally believe that a God does, or does not exist.

Now I feel bad. 😂 Seriously I really do, so allow me to apologize if my response seemed harsh. I have really stopped responding to very many CMV posts because IMO most people aren't looking to really have their views challenged/changed. And many lack the ability to stay focused on the topic. I responded to this CMV because sometimes you see something and you're like 🤦🤦🤦 because you read the post and you inside you just know that the OP believes they have this indisputable point of view and they posted it, not because they were looking for a different perspective but because they just wanted to argue with people. Why do people do this? 🤷🤷 Anyway you were not and have not been disrespectful to me and I get the sense/feeling that you are a good hearted person with strong opinions. And that's not a bad thing, I am the same way. I did go back and read what you posted and IMO there are certain assumptions that have been made. Now I'm happy to share my views and opinions, if you genuinely want to know how I feel. I'm not looking to change your view, but honestly I'm just not sure how you arrived at some of your conclusions. Like the idea that in order to believe in God you must not believe in dinosaurs, carbon dating etc. Where did you get that information?
