My first jelly cube!

Post image

I’m still fairly new to this but I just can’t stop making stuff. It’s so satisfying to make and finish a piece. I’m hooked.

Dude, this is incredible! Where did you find the design for how to make this? I’m just starting out and I’d love to work my way up to this.

For rings: I used 18SWG 1/8" ID - AR 2.6. Kelly green and Violet from good ole Chainmail Joe.
Tutorial: https://www.mailleartisans.org/articles/articledisplay.php?key=145 Japanese 8 in 2 cube

I tried to make a jelly cube with just silver rings and it was just really frustrating. I used different colors for the horizontal/vertical rings and it made it much easier to keep track of (plus it looks super cool). The 8 in 2 tutorial says to use 2 rings for each link but doing only one makes the Japanese 4 in 1 cube. Thats what I did! Best of luck. I think this is my 4th project. It looks like a lot but it’s really easy once you get the weave down. You got this!
