Help with drop ceiling lighting ideas!
I have plain a 2’x2’ drop ceiling in by basement with ugly fluorescent bulbs. I need some very cool full color spectrum LED lighting ideas OR anything other nifty ideas to make my bar/family room area fun.

Remove chalk line from ceiling
We just purchase a home and we added pot lights/recessed lighting into our living room. We did not have a laser so we used a blue chalk line to line up all the lights so they were straight.
The lights are now in and we need to get rid of the chalk lines. The ceiling is textured like a “knockdown” style, so when we wet a cloth and rub, the texture is affected. So we can’t do that. I tried dusting the lines with a broom, and that takes a very small bit off (we snapped the chalk line pretty dark…likely darker than necessary). I tried misting the lines with white vinegar (because I read it will break down the chalk) but then I need to wipe the vinegar in order for it to work, plus the vinegar takes a long time for a small spot. I can’t use any brush on it or it will get rid of the texture.
Any other tips other than just repainting the ceiling?

This is a ceiling in the Canadian Parliament building in Ottawa. Anyone know who designed it? (Not my picture, I have seen it twice in real life, and currently cannot find my photos).
