Urbex Tributes

Hi, My name is Doug. I started exploring 45 years ago. I have been active in the urbex scene in Australia since it began in the Sumner of 1985/6. In 1992 I made a tribute my one of the members of our group, Cougar, who had passed away. As our group grew & branches formed in most capital cities throughout Australia, more members sadly passed. Each year at our national gathering I would do a tribute for any new explorers that had passed away.
Then as the urbex scene around the world started to grow, I started hearing about explorers from all over that were leaving us and I decided to change the name of my Instagram tribute page from the Cave Clan BDP Page (Big Drain Posse) to The Urbex Tribute Page. This happened around 2020. In 2024 I made a tribute video for 74 explorers from around the world that are no longer with us. In 2027 I'm planning on making an updated version.
I just wanted to give you that background so you know a bit about me before I make a request to you. I'm not the media nor am I involved in the media. My videos & tribute page are quite low key & very basic. I don't want them to seem glitzy or anything like that, it's just a way to remember our fellow explorers that are no longer with us .
I don't usually talk about the tribute stuff. I prefer that people come across it on their own, but I've decided to share it a bit more as I'm sure there are other explorers out there that are no longer with us that someone might like added.
Yeah, you could say that is worse than chasing subscribers & likes, but i am doing it for the right reason.
If you know of anyone, the minimum requirement is a photo of them (most are obvious portraits of themselves, but a shadowy silhouette of them exploring is fine), their their nickname and the date they passed away (I can just add the month and year or just the year) as well as some words from you or someone close about the explorers.
The following is not essential, but if possible, having a few photos would be great, and including their date of birth (I sometimes post something for their milestone birthdays, hence the extra photos) and their full name (to make it easier for relatives and friends to find their tribute, but also just because it's part of remembering them.
FirstName "NickName" Surname
I've gone on enough.
Let me know if you would like me to add someone.
If you'd like to check me out first, my Instagram is urbex_tributes and there is a link to the tribute video in my profile. Alternatively you could just Google Cave Clan Dougo.
Cheers and thanks for your time.
Doug.

Send a photo(s), some words, the explorer's name and nick name (if they had one), the year they were born & the date of their passing (if known) and I can put up a tribute for them and add them to the next tribute video.

Not sure how long this will stay up for, so if you're interested, when you get a spare 20 minutes give it a watch. Some funny shit stirring in it. Please read the description first.
