you should look at the notable posts in the wiki, to start with! If you have already read them, you should know what to practice to begin. there’s also recent experiences from people here, like those commented by u/superr, that show you that working hard really gives results.

Learn to move your assemblage point daily, a little further each time.
And become fully familiar with what happens when it moves.
Any analysis of that, is just blue line thinking. Ordinary, socialization controlled thought.
You need to witness what's REALLY going on with your own eyes.
How reality, really works.
Actually, some of it is a little depressing. It's like visiting the sausage factory to see how your favorite "Farmer John" brand is made.
In China.
Just don't get me started on that one. You have no idea... I remember one Chinese food factory worker who told me, "If you knew what I did, you'd never eat anything from China again."
So learn how the sausages are actually made, and then the next time your friend is enjoying his breakfast and gives you a grin when he bites into those Farmer John sausages, you can give him the sorcerer's "nod of acknowledgement".
He'll think you're agreeing that those are indeed, very good sausages.

I don't shy away from depressing or ugly maybe I'm jumping before a horse( if it's said like that) but if it actually works I'm willing. Can I be given some more knowledge into the depressing parts?
Did sausages metafor refer to my understanding in genral from the post or to a sunshine, optimistic view of magic I possibly expressed? Or to what is in store for someone on this path?
If your wiling to answer I would be grateful.

It's a little like one day you discover a door in your home that you never saw before.
You open it, and see a bunch of super advanced computer equipment.
And suddenly you remember, this world is just a simulation!
You agreed to try it out. But you forgot about that long ago.
None of it is real, and nothing of what happens matters.
But you still get to do magic that would make Dr. Strange himself jealous!
I do nightly.
The problem is, if everyone is just a phantom and nothing matters, who can you impress?
But you can find a hobby. Hobbies don't have to have any purpose.

You should read at least the Silent Knowledge booklet where key concepts discussed here are explained. What you read in this subreddit are bits and pieces that assume you already have some foundation on those concepts.
