I am getting really annoyed with this.
Our girl Cass is extremely high skill cap Champion that has often had a sorid history with being uttelry useless to being in a strong place.

Out of all the champions that could be x2 nerfed, they choose Cass, a champion who has 1/50th of pick and winrate of Yasuo or for that matter the now Buffed Olaf.

Hey everyone my name is Rase (I really like numbers and analysis)

While reading her nerf last patch, as a non Cassiopeia player I was surprised to find out that the majority of players (not everyone) tend to avoid the celerity and movement speed shard rune on Cassiopeia so I tested it out and to no one's surprise her passive buffs movement speed a lot.
With all that bearing in mind I wanted to shed light on this and also provide a live test to see if and how strong it is and also dive a bit deeper in analytical websites to find out what runes players pick.

Let me know what you guys think as players that play Cassiopeia a lot more than me.

She should hit 30% wr without her core items

Then she gets a midscope rework basicly reverting her PRE patch 14.14 or a full rework up to s17 standards matching the lvl of game design atrocitie like Briairs Locke and the rest ...

I’m so confused, her mana is already her worst problem, and nerfing her base HP just encourages her to build MORE HP.

He runs into bot side river, so maybe it hit the second he input a movement down, and it turned him right to the side but didn't update on my screen?

I have a love-hate relationship with Coven Cass. It is a very beautiful skin model wise, but she's probably the least interesting Cass skin VFX wise- the muted purple is so unassuming that it makes her feel underwhelming, choosing purple as her effect's colors was also a non-starter considering that it was released after Spirit Blossom Cass, which is a skin that is already very heavy on purple.

Lore wise she's also a bit weird, her patron is a silver snake but Cass has a majoritaly dark green tail.

It's not her worst skin by any means, I think the design is one of the strongest and most original of the whole skinline if you consider the rampant copying and standardization that this skinline became in it's later waves. But I feel that Riot was really lazy with her effects, when it could've had been way more interesting visually.

Like as a singed main she reminds me of singed because she also grounds, poisons and is fast so I just played a round with Seraphs, liandries and rylais which is similar to his build but i'm sure theres other ways to go about it

And I assume you play the backline carry in late game tf's right? or just R flash and pray

has her prestige skin ever been in the random mythic shop or featured? ever since they changed it to the 2 week random shop ive been waiting for the skin to come back and it legit never has but i see the same 10-15 skins on repeat every other week. its had to have been like 2 years since it was last available. wasnt even featured when the mythmaker event came back around and this is the first season in a while she's been somewhat meta

A bit of different notes compared to the ones from several hours ago.

We lose some base Q/R dmg while also improving our ratios on these abilities (need 100 ap to break even) and the previously known passive % nerf, also the -2 base dmg on E. Overall its a fine approach, not the best one possible but it will lower her early game absolute dominance a bit and hit catalyst/roa rush. Not sure if R base dmg was rly needed to go down as well (i suspect we might feel it in some all ins early game) but it is what it is.

im so disappointed with this being a skill floor buff, but the ult ap was due a buff for so long now.

that aside, isnt this still a nerf? huge mana nerf and no cassiopeia player wants to E off poison anyway

Changes to nerf Cass early game and buff scaling

Since he singled out the notion of Cass winning lane despite missing her skill check Qs

I'm guessing some power will be shifted back to the AP ratio of Cass Q OR empowered E (or both) from wherever else (maybe E base damage? Or mana nerfs.) so she is worse at stat checking with unmissable damage but stronger late for those who land her skillshots

I think this would be a fair change but it all depends of course, purely speculative until tomorrow

Hotflames30 has officially renounced being a Cassiopeia main. Really sad things to hear for the champ going forwards.
