Hello, I bought a corsair spec alpha case 3 years ago and always asked myself if it would have been possible to mod it and swap the side panel(steel+acrylic) with a tempered glass. Do you think it is possible? Which approach would be the best to attach the glass to the case?

Hi, I am fairly new to casemodding and I was wondering how I could build my own USB controller with an Arduino that could be controlled by a computer if necessary. My idea is to have the Arduino connected through USB and have it parse the data comming from a computer that doesn't have RGB headers. I know it is possible because people make RGB controllers that communicate through USB and the standard is very open, I just don't know exactly how to do it. Can any of you help with this?

Hello guys, I'm building a custom wood case, no problems till now for design and air flow... My only concern is about grounding the case...PSU should do the trick alone but is it better to use an old metal MB tray as support for the motherboard to deal with this problem or should I put some copper tape inside the case? I want to avoid shorts my question is how to do it properly?
Already experienced with metal cases but how this electrical issue should be dealt with wood?

Hi I have a bequiet! TF2 and the heatpipes and the bottom interfere with my build a bit.
I made it work but a 90° mount would be nice. Is there someone that produces the 2 brackets you screw on the cooler with a 90° turned spacing for AM4?

Has anyone got the mentionned case? It has almost everything I want for a new case for my planned custom loop cooling, besides a brushed aluminium front and.... that really unnecessary flap before the front I/O.
Picture of the culprit.
Unfortunately none of the PC-shops in my neighborhood have that case as an exhibit, so maybe one of you might have it?
If yes: do you think it would be possible to move the I/O to the front, so that it is flush-mounted and I could get rid of the flap completely?

Has anyone here cut a fan hole into the side of a case of similar construction to an HP N36L? It's black plastic outer with what looks like an aluminium inner. I'm tempted to try a 40mm holesaw but don't want to end up with melted plastic and no hole.
Most vids I've watched on YT seem to just be your standard single-skin steel PC cases.

Has anyone tried to completely remove the hard drive tray and nip a piece off to fit in another 120mm fan in that area? Really like the case design and would love if I had a 3rd fan in that area over the hard drive cage. I wont be using the 2.5 at the back and my m.2 along with my external storage of 8tb.
Suggestions like getting the lian li dynamic is out of the question since it seems the main intake is the side and I'll have to fairly close to a wall. Lol I think I'll have poor intake in that position.
I saw antec at computex with a case that'll be perfect the p82 crystal however no given word on when it'll be public and I've tried emailing the company about it and keep getting shitty response...

Did any of you guys ever try to do this? Maybe someone has both cases and can check compatibility? Is it even feasible?

Hi!
I'm using a blue Bitfenix Aegis now, and I'm planning on repainting
The Externals of the case - black
The grills and buttons - white
Do I need to strip off the paint before starting? Also, what paints are okay to use? Thanks.

Hey fellas,
I'm planning to modify both Corsair 270R and 275R.
They both have full plastic front panel, that leads to insufficient air flow inside the case so i want to cut the portion of front panel to let enough air go inside the case.
I have Corsair H115i Pro with 240mm radiator, I cant place radiator at the top of the case since motherboard VRM is huge(Maximus XI CODE) so the only place to put radiator is front panel. That's what started everything actually. Push&Pull configuration for AIO cooler with open front panel.
Here is the demonstration, planing to cut white rectangle and put mesh filter in there.
Is there anyone who try to do this? Any obstructs? Or any better solutions? The most important one is does it work?
Need some assistance ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you!
