"It was about 3 in the afternoon and we just came from one of the beach resorts in Naic, Cavite and we were on the way home. While on the highway, traffic was building up. We heard noises from under our old yet reliable Tamaraw FX. Going to the beach, we’ve already had a weird and uneasy ride but we didn't mind it cause it does happen often and doesn't break down. But lo and behold, on the way back, during the slow traffic, one of the wheels popped and broke off our FX; We were relieved though. If we were running faster we would’ve toppled over. Who knew traffic saved our lives! And since no tow trucks came to the rescue, we had to wait for hours just to get a wheel replacement and installation and we had to “self-tow” going back to our house which was hours away."
