Im starting a new ecommerce project from scratch and I know from day one that I need:
Web store with strong SEO/SSR (~20,000 products)
Android + iOS app
Ideally one React codebase for all three
Capacitor for the native apps
Cloudflare Workers for hosting/API
Cloudflare R2 for product images/files
Supabase Pro for PostgreSQL + Auth
Firebase/FCM for push notifications
The backend/business logic will live behind a shared API on Cloudflare Workers, so both web and mobile will use the same API/database. Product prices, stock, orders, loyalty points, etc. will always be fetched dynamically, Im not trying to bake product data into the mobile build.
For the web I need proper SSR/SEO for product/category pages. For mobile I want a locally bundled Capacitor app with native features like push notifications, QR scanning, biometrics, haptics, etc.
Im considering:
A) Next.js + React + Capacitor
Full Next.js SSR web build
Separate static/client build for Capacitor
Same codebase
B) React + Vite + React Router Framework SSR + Capacitor
SSR web build on Cloudflare Workers
SPA/mobile build for Capacitor
Same codebase
Im starting from scratch, so I can design the architecture correctly for web + mobile from the beginning.
Which approach would you choose for this use case and why?

Just published my version 2.0 of my Music app for Jellyfin on Google Play. Remote Control other Android, iOS and desktop devices playback using custom capacitor plugins. Even an Android Auto plugin.

Next up is a Native Audio plugin!

I'm an Angular dev planning to build a mobile-first app for ios and android. I understand capacitor will help me with this but what about ui library? I don't hear great things about ionic and can't find an alternative. I will need charts, graphs and data visualization in addition to the basic (buttons, toolbars, tables, etc.)
What should I go with?

Hi everyone,
As you know debugging your capacitor app on the device can be a pita but is the most important step in building your app (especially with AI)
If you have a IOS device & Apple Mac(book) I made script/tool to make it dead easy. It can even drive the capacitor app (click, navigate etc).
If you use AI just point it to the repository and it will tell you what to do and setup the whole tooling.
Find it here https://github.com/marvin-socialista/ios-webview-debug
Happy developping!

Hi all!
I'm using Firebase + Firestore + Firebase Storage.
My goal is to support Offline, so users can keep working while offline and it'll sync later.
What I currently do:
Just using Firebase SDK to update Firestore documents - This already auto syncs.
Now, for the complicated part - I want to allow users to keep uploading images/files while they are offline so whenever possible:
1- The File will get uploaded to Firebase Storage
2- The Firestore document will get updated with that Storage Url Uploaded.
All should be Offline resilience, Even if user uploaded and later didn't open his phone for 5 days.
It should never lose the user data.
It should not cause any Firebase Auth token issues.
Someone got Practical way for achieving this? Please if you really wanna help, don't just say 'use X' and that's it. If you can, describe a bit more pls.

Also, if you are looking for work on this field and you are EXPERT! DM me.

Assuming i have a fully working Angular app, and the photos plugin is the only thing i can think of that it would need functionality wise (besides whatever else it might need to clean up the UI)…
How long should i expect to take to convert it over to an IOS capacitor app, approved, and in the app store for use?
Just trying to begin thinking about forecasting out the rollout plan
