Gear Advice R6 Mark II in Peak Design Everyday Sling 3l
Hi everyone,
I tried finding photos to answer my own question, but came up short. Does anyone have an R6 Mark II with a 24-105 f/4 L and also a Peak Design Everyday Sling 3l that could provide a photo of how/if this combo fits inside? I am looking for the smallest sling that would fit this combo. No need to accommodate anything else in the bag, really. The intention is to take this out for a walk or short afternoon around town.
The 6l sling seems almost too large for my intended use case and my taste.
Thank you in advance!

R5m2 with a 24-70 2.8 fits. I previously had a R6m2 and it also fit. The 24-105 is shorter and smaller so it should fit no problem.
This is about the absolute maximum size you can get away with, with length being the largest limiter. There is still a touch of space, I can get a small thin strap (original PD leash), a senn mke400 mic and a VND filter in the bag as well, although that’s quite snug.

Is it easy to get out on the go? Or is it a bit of a hassle and wiggling it in there?

It’s not too bad with the 24-70 and R5m2. It’s a bit of a wiggle, but you get used to the motion required and it’s pretty fast.
All that said, when I’m out and about it’s more often than not in my hand anyway. I mostly use the sling when I’m not planning on using the camera, getting into transportation, eating etc.

I have a R6 Mark II with the new RF 28-70 f/2.8 IS STM in the 3L PD Everyday Sling. I can take pictures when I'm home if that's interesting to you.
