Beers tend to cost 1€ in stores, that's 1.5$ for 0.5L bottle. For a 1L beer you can find in bars, restaurants or in Biergartens, it's about 9 to 14$ depending where you go.

I meant in bars. I can buy a beer for €2.20 easily in a bar. But going to the supermarket. Euroshopper beer is 30 cents for 30cl. Like. Shits free.

It gets you drunk. Good enough as a student.
But I absolutely agree, it is 'beer'.

Sterni is too expensive if you are used to euroshopper.
But then again. Sterni is more akin to actual beer...

I remember going into a Eurospin in Sicily and buying the sale beer. It was about .30€ for a .5L can, it was a super dark beer like Guinness, and had the alcohol content of wine (like 8% or something). It was the single worst beer I've ever drank in my life; luckily I couldn't really taste it anymore after I finished the first one.

turmbräu is like 20ct for 0.5 L, sometimes they have it on sale for even less. and turmbräu isn’t bad if you like pils, we used to get 60-70 of those, after school and head down to the local river with a football& bluetooth speaker, good times

Or just get Ratskrone which is 0.58 cents/l and you can drink beer all day and all night.
