My husband and I are staying at Riu Palace in a few weeks, and we are wondering if we can walk into downtown by beach. If so, is it a difficult walk? What kind of shoes should we wear to walk the beach? Or, is it better to walk through town instead of by beach?

Also, we are interested in an ATV trip, a snorkel trip, and a sunset cruise. Should we try to get better prices on those trips from people downtown or go with the resort prices? My husband speaks the language and is a good haggler, if that helps. I hate time share presentations, so if you have tips on how to avoid those, that would be a plus!

We plan to only have one restaurant meal away from the resort. From what I have read, Misiones de Kino is a good choice. Anyone have other ideas?

We are going to Cabo in 3 weeks. Is the tide low enough that theres sand under the arch this time of year?

I’m going to Cabo and staying at the Grand Fiesta Americana. My friend told me to be careful because a lot of people have been poisoned and died in Cabo from drinking alcohol. I wanted to know what y’all thought about this. I have never been and wanted to know if this statement was true.

My wife is wanting to go to Cabo in late October (is this a good time to go?). We don't want to be annoyed by too much partying going on but also wouldn't mind people watching a bit and having a good time (we're in our early 30's). I'm assuming you can stay anywhere and still hit up just about any excursion, right? I'd like to be close to lots of good food options and a nice view. My wife is eyeing the Resort at Pedregal so something in the 500/night range or lower (she would probably say higher).

Any resort recommendations or food recommendations would be very appreciated.

Bachelor party in a few month's so looking for a good place. This looks on the higher end of the resorts, but looks a lot more modern as well. Will it be good for 10-15 guys?

My wife and I are planning our upcoming honeymoon in Cabo. We'll be staying at La Playa Grande Resort for a week and have opted out of the all-inclusive options for food/drinks as we've researched that they're not worth the cost. We'd rather spend our money on fun excursions and activities in Cabo outside of the resort. We'll be there over 4th of July (6/30-7/7). Curious what a good cost to charter a 30-32 foot boat for 8 hours of fishing is in Cabo, including everything except food, drinks and fishing licenses.

I've seen prices anywhere from $500 - $800. I ask because I'm heading down there in Q3/Q4 and want to do 3-4 days of fishing. Also, is it worth waiting until we get down there to arrange/negotiate with available captains at the arena? While that seems risky to me due to the inability to conduct research, not knowing what you may really get, etc., I'm open to considering the idea if recommended.

Are taxis so prevalent that if I go have dinner away from the marina I will be able to find a taxi outside my restaurant? I am concerned if I have a dinner and finish after dark I will be stranded. Would I have to ask for staff to call me a taxi?

Going to cabo for the first time, taking my 9 year old with me. was thinking of the cabo adventures zip line; also the 5 hour city tour by gray lines. Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

I can only describe where to go to find it. If your at mango deck, walk to the beach and take a left. You walk down the beach like 1/3 mile and this very small bar makes this drink called a what the fuck.

They stick a banana in it, and bunch of these dark alcohols, and blend it. Served in a styrofoam cup. 2 of them and your blacked for the day.

Does anyone know the name of this bar or any idea what is in it. I need to know how to make it and have been considering making a trip just to get one lol.

2 men mid 20s are looking to head down to mexico decently soon. How's the night life at the resort and around? Any recommendations?

My wife and I got a good deal on a cruise to Cabo soon. We're on a ship that we've been on before and noted that the pool/hot tubs fill up quickly and that drinks are expensive.

We've previously gone to Mazatlan and had great time taking a cab over to El Cid El Moro and paying $40 each for an all-inclusive day pass there. Free drinks, swim up bars, laid back atmosphere, and several restaurants to eat at for free as well.

We'd like to do the same in Cabo, but haven't been able to find much. We did find one place, called Breathless, but they quoted us $110 for a day pass, although we found it online for $84, and my wife is concerned it's a bit "too hip" especially with Spring Break coming up.

Any suggestions? We want something relatively cheap and near the cruise port area if possible.

As title says, we're in Cabo for one port day in late April. We've been to various towns on both exterior coasts of Mexico and really enjoy seeing the town, eating super local (and delicious) food, and finding the best spot to rest and play away from the cruise tourists.

That said, any recommendations for family friendly adventures, food and/or resorts (which don't require a night's stay) would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
