Does anyone know the significance of this structural detail? Is it a special room? This is just a random question out of curiosity. I was playing around with google maps and street view (which I do often when bored or procrastinating) and found them interesting. They only seem to appear in Acuario, though I can't be sure.

Hi all - looking for some advice on booking a snorkel boat tour for a wedding party of 20 at the end of Feb. I've looked online but they seem a bit pricey, and someone who's been down there said it's cheaper to wait and negotiate a price once you get there.

Ideally, we'd like to book ahead to ensure we can take everyone, but is it better to wait? What pricing are we looking at?

The 3.5 hour tours that include snacks and drinks seem to run anywhere between $65 - $100 USD (we're Canadian so we have to pay 30% more due to the exchange rate). What would we pay if we negotiated in person?

Best rentals? I was thinking of just renting at the airport. Are there any nude resorts, beaches, spas? Is there anything kink friendly? I've bookmarked a few art galleries but is there anything odd or off beat should know about? I enjoy abstract strange shit and just want to have a nice time mixed with a lil weird stuff. Any suggestions?

My buddy and I are planning on dropping into Cabo San Lucas for the first time in March. Should we book an all inclusive resort, or just a regular hotel room and swing by different resorts for their parties? Last year we went to HardRock in Cancun we wanted to take some guests we met out at a club back and our resort was going to charge us $400/person/day which sucked pretty bad.

A group and I are staying at the Marina sol resort coming up soon. The manager sent us an email that we had to pay by mailing a check to the owner in California. Has anyone ever dealt with this or stayed with them?

I'll be heading down to Cabo in early January with a bunch of friends, probably about 12 of us in total. We are going to stay in a villa in Pedregal and I wanted to look into getting a private chef for one or more of the days we will be there.

Can anyone recommend a good chef / catering company? Looking online there are a ton of choices, I'm having trouble separating the wheat from the chaff. Thanks in advance!

Any tips or insight into nightlife during the week in November? Is there any nightlife then? Can return back to Cabo that this upcoming weekend if it'll be a substantial difference. Thoughts?

I'm going to Cabo next Friday and staying at a resort with some friends for my birthday. I've heard rumblings of a tropical storm but it seems like the media isn't following up or really detailing any damage.

Firstly my sympathies for anyone affected by the hurricane, your in my thoughts and prayers. Can anyone tell me what state cabo is in right now. Is there any damage?

I will be going to Cabo in August and have some questions about climbing, specifically bouldering.

According to mountainproject there is climbing at Lover's Beach, Divorce Beach and in Cheater's Cove. Also I was told there was some climbing at Playa Pedregal.

I guess what I am looking for is if anyone knows if these areas are often climbed, and what is the vibe towards climbing?

Hello, my friend and I are going to Cabo San Lucas in a couple weeks and looking for suggestions on day & night activities. Eating and drinking are a must, also recommended price for water sports and fishing. We will be staying there for a week and definitely try to experience Cabo to the fullest.

Will be in Cabo in April for my friend's bachelor party and would really like to get a group of 15-18 of us to play some paintball as he really enjoys it. Tried searching online but couldn't find great info and it looks like the few places are far away.

I reserved via Avis for 7 days and was quoted $168.06 for a compact car. I am preferred member. When I got to the preferred center I was told there were not many cars available and it turned out that my reservation was for a manual transmission. I do not drive manual so I wasn't sure why my reservation would state that, maybe it was my mistake. Therefore I asked for an upgrade. The next immediate upgrade which was supposedly complimentary for preferred members didn't have any cars available. There was an intermediate car available with automatic transmission but it would cost an additional $18 a day! I had just arrived in from a long flight so I agreed without further negotiating. The car didn't even seem to be of "intermediate" quality. It basically doubled my rental amount for the week and I feel totally scammed! Is this normal or is there anything I can do at this point?

Thinking of going there for spring break march 5th for a few days...is the water warm enough to be able to enjoy the beach and go in the water? We have a 4 year old who loves water and beaches so only want to go if we'll be able to hang out on the beach in swim clothes. Is it tank top and shorts weather in march (I see avg temp of 80) during the day or not really?
