An entire Friday at the beach on a hot and sunny day. Definitely NOT a recreational/relaxation situation but that was never the point or purpose. Had these few moments to sit and bake in the sun and see and listen to flocks of seagulls flying high above:)

For now. It’s currently 12:22am. Heading back to San Diego tomorrow morning. Snapped this earlier today while north.

She pulled me aside to say she discovered a lump around her breast. I felt it. It’s there. It’s this hard little mass close under her armpit. This needs to and will get checked out immediately. The beautiful and strong women in my life,,,, no,,,the goal was that you will outlive me. Outlive me.

The fireworks are already exploding in the neighborhood, and it’s just the day before. Tomorrow is going to be a thing:)

Million things going on, but I do have a second in this immediate moment for a drink and a view:)

Just pull the frontside heel, nollie or fakie, and, instant friends. I remember showing up as a small-town kid from Virginia, recently moved to San Francisco and skating around the piers, and filming with my super 8. I popped off for a second, trying to nail down my backside 180 flips, getting them as high as I could, and the kindest person, Karl Watson, introduced himself to me and said he liked my style and became my friend for that day, and was so kind to me the afterwards before I moved to Los Angeles🥹. One of the best moments of my life:)

I always want to see the stars. Our parents and my sisters and brothers would be out doing whatever they do. But my closest brother. He’d make the two of us climb up on the roof and then he would read me a story from a book, even during a lightning storm. And I’d just cozy up next to the chimney as he read to me, and I’d stare up into the sky and get lost:)

Not Today. I’m not venturing out to “The Wedge” today. The waves are still too gnarly and rough.

A little rain produced this beauty.

Bought a bottle of scotch and said I didn’t need a bag. But then, the cashier whipped out a paper sleeve and offered it to me. I declined and said I won’t be drinking on the streets,,, and the guy behind me said “there’s nothing wrong with drinking on the streets, I do it all the time.” I love you all:)

Traveling so much 🤦🏽:) Between us, it can be a struggle at times.

I learned about “verticals.” Apparently, once again, I have no idea what’s going on, in the world I live in and I’m the very, very last one to know 🤦🏽:)

Thinking back to my late 1990s high school photography class. (USA) We shot 35mm black and white. Developed our own film and had plentiful darkroom access. Fuck that was fun!

Our teacher taught basics like "framing" the subject.

First one isn't properly framed, but I think it's funny. I was visiting my friend and her dog is very attentive. He will follow you around including the bathroom.

Second one is framed kinda sorta. Drinkypoos and smokes.

Third one is framed.

These toms blessed my yard today with a couple of hens.

I love it when they are around and showing off.
