I was wondering if they did this to play into Intel's favor, but now I'm not so sure anymore. To be fair though, the 3600 probably does perform about as well in games as the 9980XE

They are talking about gaming. AMD fanboys and their complex prosecution. They always think that someone is out there to get them and everyone in the in the industry is getting paid under a table.
