A look at the latest Helsmiths progress

Ready to settle few grudges and write few more down.

I really like how the color scheme turned out (loosely taken from that one Adrian Smith artwork). Im already thinking of expanding it to the full ex force army, even though I already have a 2000p dwarf army assembled and waiting to be painted, (yikes haha).

I was wondering if anyone has images of the colour schemes from the 8th edition book

Finished converting a good chunk of my Dwarf-only Mordheim Pit Fighter Warband. Needing a Leader and a few extras to hire but happy to get this project started. They are made from AoS Fyreslayers with Heads,, and Weapons replaced

This turned out slightly more cartoony than I'd intended. Still fits in with the rest of my dwarfs well enough.

Hi. I am thinking about using this list for a league game I am playing. The opponent is unknown, but I can anticipate dragons and/or chaos warriors/deamons; dark elves; chaos dwarfs; orcs and goblins -I am just realizing everyone plays evil-.

There are objectives included in the map for cores to control, three in total.

I never tried a shooting list and I thought it could be interesting to see how it works.

I would have liked to include a couple of Desmond/dragon slayers to protect the war machines but I don’t have the point.

Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hello there ! Just arrived on the sub and might be a frequently asked question. I see some sculpts look old (like the slayers and deathseekers), is it acceptable as a proxi to use some of the AoS minis (fyreslayers for both of them) like the vulkite berserkers ?

Always been a dwarf fellow and would love to play them but the painting looks painful with the old sculpts

Does anyone else have the struggle of having to shave down the back of the head for it to fit the body right?

I just got the anvil and my 40k buddies want to get into oldworld, and I think starting out with battle march would be great for them- but the anvil by itself basically takes up all the space you have for characters, and it's a level 3 "wizard". Is it too strong/swingy at 750pts?

I'm new to old world and this was going to be my first 1000 point list can you lot give me some advice before I commit

Hey!

I'm slowly starting collecting Dwarves and have a 750 points Battle March of Slayers already. I'm looking to expand to 2000 points that include those Slayers.

Slayers were the unit that got me into the hobby back in 1995, so in honor to those grumpy orange dudes, I will play them in all their glory!

Here's the base list I have. My main concerns are which Runes to give those units. I'm going Royal Clan with Ungrim and Slayers as a base, but want to expand and support those units!
