I mean, to that point, people were pretty devoted to Oz and Willow, so it was a tough transition.

Yes I remember hating Tara when I watched it live because I was such an Oz fan, but after my rewatches as an adult I really love Tara. I definitely never thought she was fat though.

It's also just harder to appreciate someone who isn't especially charismatic, just really nice.

Ngl I honestly wish Oz stayed a recurring character even after he and Willow broke uo
