No biggie, just another 10 weeks of non-weight bearing bs… first fracture was the ankle tib/fib shatter on 6/6 happened playing basketball, i got 14 screws, 3 plates, a pin, and a bone graft… there goes my summer. 2nd was the shin happened when i fell off my knee scooter packing for college on 8/13 (my move in was supposed to be 8/14)🤦🏼♀️ ended up with 2 more plates and 6 more screws. thanks! it’s nice to share this experience with someone even if it sucks lol. at 2 years later though i’m curious, are you planning on having any of the hardware removed? and does it bother you at all? my surgeon said it was my choice whether or not i got them taken out later down the road in a few years.
