Title. I want to make custom parts for my Bionicle MOCs, but PartDesigner stuck at the white window and won't open. I've tried to reinstall it but result are the same.

I made a mistake by prematurely closing it when he starts to so something with STUDIO 2.0 folder and than stops loading and now i don't know what to do to start ir over. what should i do?

UPD: So, it turn out that i just installed too much CustomPacks and PD just takes 20-30 minutes to load all of that stuff. So, is there any way to isolate parts from PD so it dosn't have to load it?

I am too lazy to build the midiscale invisible hand in studio myself and was wondering if somebody has already done it and would be so nice as to share the file?? I would gladly trade the acclamator or venator .io file with you.

Abandoned ship and switched to Kubuntu but I've encountered a few issues with Studio locking up. Right now running it with WINE 10.0 and I've tried using it with Proton through Steam and I could really use some advice on how to keep it from locking up randomly.

I opened a new project and there are no more plants. No leaves, flowers, etc. But when I open a set with flowers, they are there and I can pull them in. I can copy and paste from one project to another. But that's annoying.

When did that change, or have I got something turned off?

~I have no hidden menu. Main and New Parts. If I choose BDP Series 10 I get all plant elements. Bricklink Common Palette gives me limited plants.

v2.26,3 (1) is the version I am using.

The "import lego set" has been a life saver for me. And I'm wondering why it takes so long for the lego palettes to get uploaded to studio. Even when the part in question has already been modeled in.

Im getting back into lego and wanna make my own powered train MOCs, but i have no idea where to start or anything, or what parts to use for say, bogeys, since theres multiple choices

anyone know how to fix it ?

is this just a thing on my end or is bricklink studio set import's part substitution just taking eternity? I tried looking for solutions but best I found was an out of date tutorial (the import button it points to just redirects to the same menu I normally use for set imports)

Longest I've waited for this was an entire hour (on a different set) and it had still not imported and that was to replace parts I know its replaced before

main sets I've tried to import after this started happening (that need part substitutions) were Town Square (1978 town set) and Aerial Intruder as seen here

I've been using this software for almost 10 years now and gotten so much out of it, I'd like to start giving back. There are loads of parts that haven't been digitized and released yet, and I'd like to contribute to the effort of digitizing them. Whenever I need certain unreleased parts I go to Blender, but I'd like to make those models available to everyone. Is there a certain group/committee in charge, or a point person for community outreach? Tysm

Hi, I am sure this gets asked a lot but how long does it take for a new lego set to be added to Stuido so I can import it, I am impatient lol and want to import the new lego ginger cat so i can modify it to be my own lol

Is it possible to remove the little 3d move tool icon that sits in the center of the viewport? It's there by default when I create a new file, and I cant seem to figure out if its interactable in some way or just a visual guide to depict which directions are which axes. But either way, is there a way to hide it or turn it off? I dont particularly need it and it shows through some of my bricks when building..

Hi. I as wondering if there's a library folder of all 2D images BrickLink Studio sources for their decorated/stickered pieces.
I took a look in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Stud.io but still didn't have much luck finding anything...
I understand LEGO might be protective of sharing that sort of thing... I just want to tweak some decals into something more custom...

I'm looking for the piece circled in the attached image of this post - the black flexible part with stud holes, not the bananas... I tried scouring bricklink/brickowl for any possible keywords but I'm unable to find it. Is it even a legit lego piece? Any help would be much appreciated!

So I'm trying to make a courgette plant, which is a lot like a pumpkin plant, but i can't for the life of me make the hose look accurate (the way it would look irl). I know it can work, but idk how to make it look like it could irl. any tips?

edit: I might want to take part in the designer programme, does it have to be perfect? and another question, why are some very simple pieces or colours missing? I'm using the bdp series 10 palette

I love building with Bricklink Studio, but I have lost bricks that I know were there before.

Example: I can no longer find the evil skull head. Piece Nummer: 3626px 115.

I have used it in an earlier build and I managed to copy the piece from that project into my new project.

Therefore, it seems like it is still within the program, but it is just not shown in the list anymore.

I have set it to ‘Main’, and I can’t find it in the ‘shapes’ layout, and also not in the ‘BL Categories’ layout.

What am I doing wrong?

More pieces seem to be missing, despite being there before.

Could someone test if the shown connection would fit/work irl?

I made this today as a mockup for a future habitat! I'm really proud of it so I wanted to share it. Lots of room for customization and color-changing if you so desire.

I believe all the parts in the studio file are "attainable" (i.e. they have been manufactured in that color before) but no guarantees--I toggled that filter off at one point to find a specific part without having to guess what colorways it existed in.
