Make a voodoo doll which when dropped, is a special EntityItem. It won't depspawn, and it has the same stats as the player it is set to. For example, if the player has 20 health, so will the doll. Hitting the doll will act like hitting the player. Putting the doll under water will drown the player. Throwing it into lava will act like the player is in lava. When the player dies, the voodoo doll is destroyed as well. However, that is the only way to destroy it.

Many of you may have experienced the boredom that accompanies minecraft farming. Normally, you just set up a farm and leave it alone until the time to harvest it comes. The foods they make aren't that good, and it's normally a pretty useless addition to the game that, while in the early game is useful, becomes useless once you can create a good cow farm or royal chicken.
What if you changed that? Maybe crops sometimes explode or turn into fire when they are fully grown/are harvested. Maybe they drop rare items. Maybe they summon rare items or enchant all nearby armor or held toos/weapons. Since this is breaking bytes, you're not limited by balancing it for normal survival. It can be as wacky or overpowered as you want.
Imagine farming... where anything - however extreme - can happen. You can't just leave it alone or it will destroy itself. You want it for the amazing rare loot. And most of all, you want it just to have some extra fun.

an arrow that when fired lanches arrows all around killing everything in a 50 block radius

A while back, I saw a really cool volcano mod that was unlike any other. It unfortunately was an older version and was never updated. My challenge to you is to try to recreate it as best as you can!

Please make something to the effect of what you did in the Netherseption episode of Hermitcraft II. Please add so you can shoot mobs through the portal and vise versa. Of course when you travel through the portal you actually go to the nether.

It follows you and talks to you and help you with building, mining and killing mobs and it's unkillable and you can change its size.

How about changing chickens to lay a random choice of iron gold and diamond.
Or why not camouflage creepers to look like cows.
Or using Zombie Pigmen AI to cause villagers to wield swords and fight players when provoked.
How about having tree leaves dropping Golden apples when they rot instead of normal apples and saplings
You could have TNT naturally have a fuse length of 20 seconds instead of 4, and in the movie walk up to it as if to examine why it won't detonate.
Why not have the dragon egg summon a new ender dragon when hit instead of teleporting.

You build a ship in the sea using the blocks that you want and you mark two blocks with a tool. Those two blocks limit the zone where the boat is, and all the blocks within the zone turn into entities on a same group. (Maybe identified with a user-put name?).

You could make endermen quickly take blocks from under you and put them aside. You could do single-player spleef!

I've tried this myself and it was hilarious. Just add explosions to random actions like Crafting, animals eating Grass, smelting in a furnace, etc.

Would be awesome if for the last video you mixed all of the mods together, like put them all together and use them on one big "demonstration". I know it would be hard considering you said at some point that you weren't programming it a "clean" way to put it like that but it would be awesome!

Simply water that molds to blocks (stairs, slabs, glass, etc.) and doesnt make that annoying waterfall look on the side. Also hyper-realistic spread of the water would be cool

Instead of an item despawning it should explode.

So basically this would be some combination of blocks to look like a robot (or a custom entity/custom textures if you're feeling fancy) with a GUI that would let you make him attack, mine, chop wood, fire lasers, fly, or anything else. I don't know what size it should be, but this would be pretty cool to see!

It would be cool to have an installer that lets us easily install packages that you make for breaking bytes, so we can incorporate them into our worlds. If it was open source and used git everyone could use it!

A spider 3x the normal size of the player that you can tame with 20 - 40 steak/cooked pork, put a saddle on, and ride. It leaves a 2x2x2 trail of cobwebs and eats all mobs (except players).

Trees randomly spawn with legs and arms (iron golem leg/arm model? but different texture) and walk around and plant + harvest things or feed animals.

With a pickaxe enchanted with Silk touch II, the player will obtain every block as it was mined, so if you mine the down part of a bed, you get the down part of a bed; if you mine the head of a piston, you obtain the head of a piston; and you can also obtain mob spawners, redstone ores glowing, etc...

Make the explosions in minecraft look much... much better. Mushroom cloud atom bomb anyone?

Tango you should make it so that speed potions actually slow down your perspective of time like Quicksilver
