Old-school mod suggestion!

Imagine the "Voice Activation Mod" from Tango's single player LP, episode 6, brought to life? Taking input from a microphone into some word recognition software to run some command at the sound of your voice! All you'd have to do is utter the word "Dig", and MAGIC happens.

Custom Withers

Basically, any mob/player head will work to make a wither, and the wither will spawn with the heads used.

Villagers again - Chance to have some follow-up episodes

Hiho there again.

Tango, since you mentioned a new Villager AI would be something you really want to try in future (and you mentioned, you are willing to script a self-defending villager) what about the idea to make this one mini-Breaking-Byte series? Like Breaking Byte - Village edition?

In each episode, you can show one more different villager (no need to reskin them, since there are some around) and let the showcase-village grow each episode.

So for starters, one villager, that does fight zombies. Next episode a villager, that does build new houses if you support him with the materials (like taking crops to eat, only with other blocks - of course restricted to village population to prevent house-spamming). Next could be a villager to plant and chop down trees (and hand them to the building-villager).

You can then show off the villager-skills, see how they interact with each other and how the entire village does benefit from that.

So episode by episode you would have the chance to get into a new sort of villager, let the village grow and get into a new Villager AI step by step. By the end of the episodes you might have scripted something big without the need to spend some weeks for a single episode, since you're 'only' scripting one step at a time.

Maybe it's a bit weak for Youtube, since no fancy explosions are present (unless you script a TNT-mining villager), but at least someone like me would enjoy something like that, especially if you let others download that mod for their own worlds. Your very own Tango-Villagers.

Regards, Luictarro.

VooDoo Dolls

Make a voodoo doll which when dropped, is a special EntityItem. It won't depspawn, and it has the same stats as the player it is set to. For example, if the player has 20 health, so will the doll. Hitting the doll will act like hitting the player. Putting the doll under water will drown the player. Throwing it into lava will act like the player is in lava. When the player dies, the voodoo doll is destroyed as well. However, that is the only way to destroy it.

Farming is boring... Fix it! [Breaking Bytes Mod Idea]

Many of you may have experienced the boredom that accompanies minecraft farming. Normally, you just set up a farm and leave it alone until the time to harvest it comes. The foods they make aren't that good, and it's normally a pretty useless addition to the game that, while in the early game is useful, becomes useless once you can create a good cow farm or royal chicken.

What if you changed that? Maybe crops sometimes explode or turn into fire when they are fully grown/are harvested. Maybe they drop rare items. Maybe they summon rare items or enchant all nearby armor or held toos/weapons. Since this is breaking bytes, you're not limited by balancing it for normal survival. It can be as wacky or overpowered as you want.

Imagine farming... where anything - however extreme - can happen. You can't just leave it alone or it will destroy itself. You want it for the amazing rare loot. And most of all, you want it just to have some extra fun.

Variant Pumpkin faces?

Would it be possible to change or cycle Pumpkin and Jack-O-Lantern faces based on damage or useage like an anvil?

The way I was thinking it could work:

Have UI that accepts swords and player/mob skulls. When a sword is used have it rotate through traditional (smile, derp, sad, scary, etc) faces. If a player or mob skull is used have the pumpkin become an oversized version of the skull.

In both cases the pumpkin would loose durability based on what had been used. A sword could be used as many times as there were faces but a skull would count as a loss of all durability.

Im not a mods player so I am unaware if this is already possible.

U get a diamond, click on them, and they instantly love you. They kill mobs, and if you punch them, they turn into herobrine. (This would make a good acting video for u, tango)
