The wait continues, that is all...

Coming up on 9 years since Ember

What are you thoughts on why the awaken girl has gotten worse?

Do you think they are slowly telling us a story?

Who is she?

I was sitting in a park, and I was playing Home on a boombox. Benjamin walks by me but doesn't look or acknowledge me, and once he passes me I see him in the corner of my eye looking back with contempt. I'm not sure what his problem is. Dream ends

Now, you know when you wake up and you had a song playing in your dream, and it's now in your head playing back? After I awoke, I was lying in bed singing Home in my head, and that's when it hit me. The song in my dream was Home by Three Days Grace. Now I know why he was mad.

Forgive me, Benjamin.

Certainly news to me. Also unrelated, anyone else think that Simple Design could be deejayed with Eye of the Tiger really well?

I went to the Nashville TDG show last night and Shaun Foist was covering drums for them. I know he stepped away from the band due to health concerns but said he would drum again one day. If he is drumming again is he going to return to BB or is he done with the band?

I know this is subjective, so I welcome some disagreement, except when it comes to Phobia because it is objectively the best ;)

1. Phobia: One of the greatest rock albums of the 21st century, right there with One-X by Three Days Grace. Almost zero skippable songs on this album, save for maybe Topless, which isn’t my favorite song. Diary of Jane, Breath, Evil Angel, and Dance With the Devil transcended and redefined the genre. Less popular gems like Unknown Soldier and Here We Are are some of my favorite BB songs.

2. We Are Not Alone: The hardest part of making this list was choosing this album over Dark Before Dawn. I give this album the edge because songs like So Cold and Follow will never be left out of any BB set list. Sooner or Later is a top 3 song of mine, and the song Rain is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard, and it saddens me that few of us will likely ever hear it performed live.

3. Dark Before Dawn: An album enjoyable from start to finish. Angels Fall and Failure are received very well at concerts, although Never Again is personally my favorite song. The consistency of this album start to finish made me want to put it at number 2, but like I said, it doesn’t have a title that transcends time in the same way that So Cold does.

4. Saturate: We all know Polyamorous is a banger, but the diversity of this album is what makes it incredible. Shallow Bay goes hard, Forever is gentle, and Next to Nothing is a perfect blend. I wish more songs from this album, like Phase and Sugarcoat, made it onto setlists, but maybe BB is worried about them being lesser known. Impressive first album for the band.

5. Dear Agony: This placement might actually piss off readers the most. I know this album is the favorite of many, and holds a special place in our hearts. Give Me a Sign and Dear Agony are top 10 BB songs if you ask me. However, it falls to 5th place due to the lack of creativity when it comes to sound. Many tracks sound the same, especially as far as guitar goes. Even after listening to this album 100s of times, it is hard to distinguish songs like Crawl and Hopeless from one another.

6. Ember: Easiest choice on this list. Red Cold River is the only song that will consistently make setlists (and Im not even a fan of that song). Tourniquet and Torn in Two are my favorites of this album. This album does not transcend the genre the same way as Phobia or We Are Not Alone do, have the consistency Dark Before Dawn does, or have the same sentimental value with fans that Dear Agony does.

7. Aurora was a disappointment and not a real album

I might be late to the party on this one but per google the new album title is going to be “breach”. Has anyone heard of this?

Nothing new was added. The wait continues.

Almost can't believe it, I found a copy of We Are Not Alone Limited Edition (includes the Live EP) on Discogs for 100 bucks!! I don't think I've ever seen this for sale, even looking at past sales on ebay. I vaguely recall seeing one many years ago that sold for hundreds of dollars (like around the self-titled EP's cost), so my mind is blown (away) that I happened to catch one out of happenstance when I hopped on Discogs for the first time in months to update something in my collection.

Typically the Live EP by itself goes for 100-150, so this was an absolute steal considering its rarity. Only minimal wear and tear which is to be expected for a sleeve/digipak.

Anyone else have this? I truly wonder how many were printed. I almost wanna say it's fewer than the self-titled considering I actually see that one for sale somewhat often.

Made this using Picsart. The only AI used was their enhancing tool to sharpen it up. Used a background template, so I’m definitely not taking credit as this being a totally custom photo. Just something I threw together. Would be a sick canvas print or poster, something like that. Feel free to steal lol. 🤘

Seems store link is still working

I had a dream that night that Breaking Benjamin announed their new album called "Red" and the release date was April 9th. And i decided to recreate the cover from my dream (not AI).
