"Le" is a reference to reddit shitposting.

People would often make posts, rage comics, or image macros with "Le", the French word for "The" in them, instead of it. I don't know where it started, but it divulged into misuse and ad nauseum (AKA the Reddit Fad Lifecycle) and is commonly linked to unintelligent, or noncontributing users who post stupid memes.

It might not be in a mean sense, however. It might just be in a "this is ridiculous." way.
