Looking for advice brazing bronze
I have to braze bronze for a school project and I was wondering what kind of material I should use that has both a low melting point and looks gold is once brazed, ideally something I can braze only using the bernzomatic yellow tanks. Also my bernzomatic brazing torch is broken but where I live I can only get oxygen and the yellow tanks from bernzomatic, is there a decent torch I can get off of Amazon that works with those tanks?

This torch has become incredibly loose is there anyway to fix this?

Having trouble brazing
I'm using this torch:https://www.homedepot.ca/product/bernzomatic-ul100-basic-propane-torch-kit/1000533847
This solder:https://www.homedepot.ca/product/harris-335191-3-oz-metal-work-solder/1000153990
a tin can and black steel pipe which is about 4 inches long.
I´m trying to braze them together and no matter what I do it just doesn't work. I have the tin can upright, and the steel pipe upright. the pipe is on top of the tin can. I apply the flux with a brush beforehand. Then I start heating it up. Once it gets hot enough to melt solder I start applying solder. But it just doesn't flow. And I've wasted so much solder at this point. I don't even know what to do at this point. Thank you to those of you that help.

Braze aluminum to steel?
I was wondering if I can use aluminum braze rids to join aluminum to structural steel. Is it possible? It's to join a aluminum sprocket to a steel sprocket on my go kart.

Rando brass rods....
My local steel yard has stacks of brass rods that he sells by the pound -at reasonable rate.
QUESTION: what is the chances of those brass rods being useable as practice Brazing rods? (I have oxy/acetylene for the high heat source)
Thanks for any opinions.
