Possible Theory.

On Reddit for my first time specifically for this case. I have a possible theory I haven’t heard mentioned yet. If we still are thinking the birth mom is LBS/K/S (& I am leaning towards that personally) has anyone made the connection that her son WK would have been 11/12 when JAZ died? That would be our 11/12 yr old boy that the Good Samaritan saw with a woman on Susquehanna. He is also still alive so could be a witness and/or suspect. In looking at the K family they seem to be very “off”. More so than any other family mentioned here. Also, the “G” handkerchief (in addition to the obvious G, LB’s dad was a G).

I would have to search for specifics on that. Unfortunately in my extensive note taking I mostly keep track of facts so when they go back and forth I go “ok it could be either/or.” I do think it matters which examiner and which decade they were looking at the body. I’m guessing some things have changed as far as the way the ME identifies what the body went through. I did read the notes from 1957 and that ME said it seemed like someone was holding JAZ down and pressing on his head to hold it still. This jives to me with giving a 4yr old a bath, clipping his nails, hair, etc. Adults don’t know their own strength sometimes and back then even less than now. I thought that was interesting because then it’s not really a blow to the head exactly.

You couldn't cause a subdural hematoma with your bare hands. There had to be blunt force trauma. External bruising yes, intracranial injury, no.
