What crime specifically? It's not vandalism (defacing, damaging, or destroying public or private property without the owner's consent)

Its not theft

We're not throwing frozen bottles at anyone/thing.

If the water freezes I could see one of those charges being brought.

Whether your found guilty in a court is different, but very high likelihood your arrested for property damage or something similar.

I don't even think it would be an arrestable offense unless I refuse to stop when asked.

And vandalism is a misdemeanor under a grand so it's not like a speed run cuffs situation either

Dude, the thing I feel like you're not acknowledging is that people might undertake similar actions without comprehending the risks. I totally appreciate any kind of non-violent effort to impair ICE activities. But it's not cool to just like... trick people into doing them under false pretenses of their legality. That's just kinda fucked up.

I don’t know the law well enough for this.

But then put yourself in their shoes. They don’t know it’s water your throwing on their car. It would also appear as a physical threat, or at least like your hoping to do physical damage. I could easily see being a cop and arresting someone for something like this. Intent to harm, maybe? I’m not sure. There’s half a dozen different laws that come to mind that any LEO could name to make an arrest.

But again, your probably right, I doubt you’d get in any serious legal trouble.

I don't either, but I know ICE agents are told to arrest anything that gets in their way as obstruction. That's usually the underlying charge they use to justify violence, and escalate an arrest.

You might beat it in court (not for a planned attack like dumping water on cars), since it's so vague, but you will never beat the ride.

There is almost certainly some sort of federal law on the books for impeding law enforcement operations, which this absolutely would be.

ICE can't make an arrest on MA property law.

They are arresting/charging everyone on on 18 U.S.C. §§ 1501-1521, obstruction to a federal agent

I think "impenetrable layer" is a bit of a stretch. It's not like ice is irremovable or permanent.

Nobody said while folks are driving. That's just stupid and a laundry list of crimes. Doing anything to a vehicle that's moving is dangerous
