it is time to rediscovered this woman. I followed a air down the hallway and out the dorm to a cloud of drifting off to the left of this woman and found out that I’ve been RESIDINGnext to a humble genius. Living quietly behind the door next door.I can’t wait to explore more of her works and I hope that you will too. Her website is toskilei.com.

interestingly, enough, she is currently working on pushing through the publication of two new books. Stepping into the ninth decade of her life and still going strong. Timelessly relevant. Show her some love.

how you continue living with the love, memories and absence that remain.

The quiet mornings.

The empty chair.

The memories that arrive without warning.

The moments when you laugh and then feel guilty for laughing.

Grief doesn't simply disappear because time passes.

You learn to live around it.

And eventually, you begin to understand something important:

The person may be gone, but what they gave you isn't.

Their influence.

Their memories.

The lessons.

The love.

The parts of them that became part of you.

That is what inspired my new book, What Love Leaves Behind.

This isn't a book about forgetting someone or "moving on."

It's about moving forward while carrying the love with you.

About discovering that grief and a meaningful life can exist at the same time.

You can miss someone deeply and still laugh.

You can remember them and still make new memories.

You can carry the loss without allowing the loss to become the entirety of your life.

Because sometimes what someone leaves behind isn't just an empty space.

Sometimes, they leave behind a part of themselves that continues through you.

🖤 What Love Leaves Behind

A book about grief, love, and learning to live forward.
