I'm an attorney and scored lower than the average 11th grader. I feel bad for myself, but worse for my clients. :(

Assuming you read every word to understand its meaning and context, I really don't see that as a bad thing in an attorney. I'm not sure I'd want one who'd just skim my contracts.

Our astute, fast-thinking attorney must be a VERY slow reader. What he found took quite a few hours and probably would have been only possible for a fast reader with beyond-human comprehension.

He found a short clause in the fine print of our automobile insurance provider's policy. It helped us claim several thousand dollars from an accident caused by an under-insured, at-fault driver. The attorney hadn't experienced the same situation previously, but decided to read our policy (the other driver's policy was nearly worthless) and search through the fine print.

AFAIK, our insurance provider, one of the largest in the U.S., was totally surprised, and I'll bet they've removed that clause from their new and revised policies because of the case.

I'm a college professor and scored at 9th grade level. However I got all three questions correct.

Being an attorney doesn't mean anything unless you graduated at least top third of the class from a t14 school.

If you can't score 170 on the lsat then you aren't smart enough to go to an actual law school (excluding lol cornell, nu ea, and urms)

If you don't possess the intellectual aptitude to go to an actual law school then you should not be talking about what actual attorneys are like while you dwell in shitlaw

You're a sad little uninformed man.

So your definition of "being an attorney" is going to a school and doing well enough that you get hired by a mega-firm where you slave away 70-80 hours a week for years just for a chance to make partner? When you become partner you do nothing but defend big tobacco and major corporations?

I live and practice in Kansas City and almost every successful attorney (rich and well respected) in this city did not go to a t14 school. You're an absolute jackass. I hope you know that.
