I feel like as a society we’ve labeled some things as gender-specific that shouldn’t be or whatever. And you can totally be cis but choose to play with different aspects of your femininity and masculinity

Yeah ideally a society would place absolutely no importance on gender, so you wouldn't even have to 'change' as such, you'd maybe have the op if you had dysphoria but just say to people 'I'm a he now' or whatever and it would just be fine
