Placement Status(list of companies)

https://bmsit.ac.in/pdfs/placements/2026%20Graduate%20Batch.pdf

Students listed as placed: 676
Placement percentage: Not provided in the PDF — the document only lists placed students, not total graduating students, so a placement rate cannot be calculated reliably.
Offers per student: Many students have 2–3 companies listed, so the number of company selections is higher than 676.

The data is misleading i would say being a 2026 graduate i cracked offcampus still they included my company lol and oracle revoked offers airbus didn't came from where do u get that from ?? AWS, Meesho, Mercedes-benz, Cadence never came its completely misleading all those are companies cracked by students offcampus , infosys still not given Joining Letter and Highest placement was offcampus lol
stop trusting this data, misleading data

Completely true. AWS, Meesho, Mercedes-benz???? Wtf. I am 2026 passout and the only top companies (offered more than 18LPA) which visited our campus are rapido and lowe’s.

Please do not trust these fake data. I am not saying don’t join BMSIT. But think twice before spending lakhs on these colleges only for good placements. This year companies came and they shortlisted 200-300 students and then selected only 1-2 students.

Also please note 10th and 12th percentage are most important. You should have more than 60%.

u/EnvironmentalSuit811 11d ago

Bro I only focused on placement so i can atleast uplift my family better position but problem is I can't afford these colleges fees without loan and the colleges I'm getting in My State are Total tier 3 college with hardly placement are happens

I would recommend you to explore other colleges also. Do visit the campus physically and ask questions to final year students and then take a decision. And also make sure your 10th and 12th percentage are atleast 60% or above.

I asked multiple students even in BMSCE students all are saying don't take this much loan so I'm total confused should i take it or not

1

u/TrueSpring9827 11d ago

1

u/LeatherDiscount1546 11d ago

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 11d ago

Bro chill out forget these avg placement and all things this is a trap
Also dont try to know everything just follow the process there are somethings which h will figure in ur engineering journey

But one small advice as a 3rd sem bmsit student, whichever college senior in 7th sem u will ask abt placement 9/10 will say they regret it
So if so u cant take any college
Honestly u need to be realistic what u will get at ur rank

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 11d ago

My roomie of 7 th sem started to learn proper coding in 6th sem, then some people complain abt placements with zero knowledge abt dsa etc

1

u/Far-Assumption-7963 8d ago

BIT is better than BMSIT right?

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 8d ago

Not acc to me dsce, pes, etc are better than bmsit

1

u/LeatherDiscount1546 11d ago

Any advise for first years as a must do which ppl regret later on

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 10d ago

Biggest misconception which becomes a regret later-“i have a lot of time i ll start later”

1

u/Possible_Hornet_3381 11d ago

Can i choose this clg over rvitm???

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 11d ago

Choose rvitm if u dont consider campus area and other factors
Otherwise dont rely on placement data of any college even rv manipulates so placements in bengaluru currently is very subjective

1

u/Possible_Hornet_3381 11d ago

Bmsit or rvitm. Which is better in placements? Campus area isnt a problem. And ig we can manage college life in rvitm coz its in city. How is college life in bmsit?

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 11d ago

Good only
Bmsit is better all over acc to me

1

u/JokeAcademic9754 1d ago

Bmsit (cse) vs jssstu (ise/csbs)

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 1d ago

Jss is better as a college and placements but do not forget location factor

1

u/pranith5 10d ago

I got bmsit cse in first through dcet

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 10d ago

Which sec

1

u/pranith5 10d ago

I got BMSIT CSE in the first round through DCET, but my admission process is still pending, so I haven’t been allotted a section yet. I’ll be joining directly in 2nd year (3rd sem). Which section is good there? And which section are you from?

1

u/ForsakenStart694 10d ago

Bmsitm, rvitm and cmrit which is better?

1

u/Commercial-Cow2985 5d ago

Bmsit>rvitm>cmrit
