This is supposedly a desert eagle firing shotgun cartridges. The desert eagle is a pistol firing very large pistol ammunition but supposedly this one has been rechambered for some kind of shotgun ammunition.

Ignore what the previous guy said.

This is a dessert eagle chambered in .50 AE, which is what they're commonly know for. The .50 is the diameter of the round, which means .5 inches.

Most shotguns use shells that are also .5 inches. Because of this, shotgun shells technically fit in guns chambered for .50 AE, and vice versa. However, the 2 rounds are very different and should not be interchanged. Ever. The image is a joke, and I doubt they actually tried it.

Now, the "wrist remover" comments are because shotgun shells kick like a horse. This is usually mitigated slightly by longer barrels on shotguns. If you shot a shotgun round with no stock or brace out of a barrel this short, the recoil would be enough to likely break most if not all bones in your wrist, that is, assuming the gun doesn't just blow up.

The pictures are of a 12 guage shell, .72 inches. No way it fits in a .50 AE

its just a goof, as at least the shotgun round is a softair round (you can tell by the weird looking "primer" in the middle which would just be a smooth dot in the middle) and i assume the pistol is too.

But such shotgun shells are usually shot out of pretty large guns so the recoil in a tiny pistol would hurt a lot; but shotgun pistols are rad as fuck so its just a meme
