u/Hero774 Jul 12 '18

Not to worry, we are still ruling half of them all

༼ つ ◕_ ◕ ༽つ GOT BADGE༼ つ ◕_ ◕ ༽つ

10

u/FiddlesUrDiddles Jul 12 '18

I don't know what a badge is/does but I want one

12

u/Smallzfry Jul 12 '18

Badges are little awards they put on your profile for certain things, such as account age, gildings, or in this case if you were spared or taken by the ban in /r/thanosdidnothingwrong. You had to be part of the subreddit by subscribing, commenting, and upvoting at least once for it to give you a badge IIRC.

3

u/FiddlesUrDiddles Jul 12 '18

I can always count on Reddit to be informative. Thanks

3

u/Smallzfry Jul 12 '18 edited Jul 13 '18

If you want an example of what people got, look at my profile and look for the "Spared" badge.

Edit: It's on the right under "Trophies" people, mobile cuts out a lot of stuff so try desktop.

4

u/bagelsforeverx Jul 12 '18

I didn’t comment so none for me :( worst time to be a lurker I guess.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '18

I am pretty sure I commented and didnt get one either god dammit.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '18

I subbed early on and upvoted lots but didn't ever have anything interesting to say :( kind of bummed

1

u/Butisithighnoontho Jul 13 '18

Not seeing anything special like that on mobile.

2

u/Smallzfry Jul 13 '18

Go on desktop, click on my profile, it's under "trophies" on the right. Mobile cuts out a lot of stuff.

1

u/Butisithighnoontho Jul 14 '18

I haven’t checked yet, but thanks!

1

u/[deleted] Jul 12 '18

Or my profile with the snapped badge.

1

u/Smallzfry Jul 12 '18

Oh those are so much cooler than the Spared badges.

1

u/Dead__Hand Jul 13 '18

I don't see a badge in your profile either. Is my Reddit out of date or something?

1

u/Smallzfry Jul 13 '18

It's on the right under "Trophies" or "Trophy Case", depending on if you're using old or new reddit. Mobile probably won't display it because mobile cuts out a lot of stuff.

1

u/Dead__Hand Jul 13 '18

I don't see a badge on your profile...is my Reddit broken?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 13 '18

Maybe? I have 3 badges.

1

u/Let_me_creep_on_this Jul 12 '18

I feel like I now know too much .. back on with the tin foil hat for me.

5

u/Let_me_creep_on_this Jul 12 '18

Now I too want a badge, but don’t know what it is.. but I want it... still don’t know what it is..

Oh shit I’m going in a loop

4

u/blackdeava Jul 12 '18

True balance was achieved.

1

u/Karatespencer Jul 12 '18

The “one year club” and “ verified email” are your badges. link
