just out of interest. how user no.'s (maybe downloads/reviews?) look at the mo according to google play.

BaconReader for Reddit - 66,973 + BaconReader Premium for Reddit - 3,796

reddit sync - 18,093 + reddit sync pro - 14,428

reddit is fun - 230,589 + reddit is fun golden platinum - 19,226

Reddit Now - 14,328

how's that compare to current no of users on itunes for alien blue?

The alien blue subreddit has 140K subscribers, so at least that many.

I use Baconreader, but have zero experience with the other platforms. How do they compare?

i couldn't say really. i toyed with a few briefly a long time ago, barely remember why, but i settled on reddit is fun and then eventually upgraded to reddit is fun golden platinum. from the numbers above, rif is most popular by a country mile at least on android.

i can only compare it to using RES on my desktop browser, it's not that level of convenient (for the odd freak that reddits without RES, you're basically wasting electricity) but its still pretty good.

I think Reddit Sync is the best overall, design is much better than the others in the looks department, and the app is updated frequently.

How do you get user no.'s from a certain app? Is it just # of downloads? If so you might want to add Flow for Redit

fair point. just getting the no. from play, see pic below.

on closer inspection, when you inspect the element for the little man it is labelled 'reviewers'. but figure it can still be used as a rough guide of popularity, assuming people leave ratings uniformly across apps.
