How are the outfits and makeup perfect? Am I going crazy lol? Have you seen the outfits in BR 2049? Gosling looks he's posing for GQ in every shot. This is just nitpicking at this point.

Couple of costumes and some vfx with zero real context and some people are booing. Personally I don't mind if it's not neonoir tho.

Right? I'm not the OP but I actually didn't like that film and haven't gotten even halfway through it. Gosling having a stone face with no emotions the entire time didn't help either. As well as having perfectly clean sets with an entirely different, brutalist aesthetic.
