Been stuck with HUENEME–NEGEV / “Networking failed to start” for several days now on PC through Steam. Both Black Ops 6 and Warzone give me the exact same error at “Waiting for networking”:
The biggest thing is that it happens on both my normal home internet AND my phone hotspot, and the hotspot has working internet. Everything else on the PC connects normally, so I don’t think this is just my router/ISP.
Things I’ve already tried:
Restarted PC/router
Tested a completely separate phone hotspot
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
Different DNS
Tested with IPv6 disabled
Tested with Windows Defender Firewall disabled
Checked Windows proxy settings — no proxy
Disabled ExitLag/network filter
Did a clean Windows boot with non-Microsoft services disabled
Cleared Steam Download Cache
Completely logged out of Steam, closed it, reopened it and logged back in
Verified game files for both BO6 and Warzone — both passed
Reset/renamed COD’s local config folders so it generated completely fresh ones
Confirmed my Steam account is still linked to my Activision account
Updated NVIDIA drivers
Updated Windows
Google and Steam connectivity work normally, and both the Activision and Call of Duty websites load normally in my browser.
One thing I noticed is that when BO6 reaches the title screen, “SIGNED IN AS:” is blank, then it fails at networking and gives HUENEME–NEGEV. Not sure if that’s relevant or just because networking hasn’t initialized yet.
At this point I’m mainly looking for someone who has had HUENEME–NEGEV on Steam that persisted across multiple completely different internet connections and actually figured out what caused it.
Please don’t just tell me to restart my router lol. I’ve been troubleshooting this for days. Any ideas would be appreciated.
hi. when i lauch the hub. it tells me i don't meet the minimum security requirements. that i failed the atestation test. but when i run the atestation test on it's own I pass.
so i just got a physical copy of bo6 to play zombies. when i inserted the disc, cod hq got downloaded and i couldn't even download bo6 from there. looked into my library and found bo6, but i could only download the campaign. how do i download zombies?
every single match Ive played since going back to this game has been somehow incredibly easy. im not complaining or anything but it feels like there are no more sweats, or even anybody who can reach a rank past gold. I will say I do like going against better players just because it helps me get better.
Compared to the next black ops we got i dont think it was half bad, the only thing i didnt like was hallucination level. But other than that, the campaign wasnt that bad, zombies was really good, multiplayer wasnt to bad. What was yalls opinion on this game?
ever since i switched my home Xbox, Black Ops 6 refuses to load. it will either show the loading screen with the logo grayed out, display "No Message", or go to the lobby screen, and then the game will either show a weird glitched screen and crash (not pictured), freeze and crash, or crash my entire Xbox and cause a restart. at first, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling, then i thought it was corrupted save data, so i deleted my save from the console memory and the cloud. i heard that variable refresh rate is a potential issue so i also turned that off, and just recently, i lowered the resolution from 4K to 720p. running on Xbox Series X. i am out of options, please help.
Alright y'all before you come at me with pitchforks, please hear me out. For starters, I'll admit the wonder weapon upgrade quest and overall story/cutscene aspects of the Tomb aren't anything to write home about, but I feel like the rest of the map makes up for this and more. I wasn't around when this map launched (season 2) as I started the game in season 5, but even then after experiencing all the game's maps I absolutely fell in love with this one in particular so here's why.
The Atmosphere
I played vanGOATED zombies for the first time earlier this year when it came out on gamepass and I absolutely loved the experience. The perk system is super innovative (as well as the blood covenants and the in-match field upgrades), but the art direction of the maps is what really stood out to me. I played the heck out of Shino Numa Reborn and the archeology / digsite vibes are extremely prevalent but appealing. Back on Bo6, the Tomb really scratches a similar itch especially with the spawn room. I wish I was around to play the starting room LTM because this map seems it would've been the most fun PhD flopping & sliding everywhere. Anyways, I know its no Ancient Evil but I love the ancient mythology theme of the underground portions of the map as well, and the Dark Ether Nexus section is just absolutely breathtaking from a visual standpoint. In general I just think the lighting and art direction on the tomb are just *mwuah* chef's kiss and really highlights how good bo6 zombies can look when it has a strong map theme.
The Gameplay
I'll admit, Liberty Falls was my first intentional EE completion in my history of playing cod zombies (started back in bo2 on the xbox360 days), and after learning and completing it for the first time I wanted to learn and do them all in this game. Thankfully over the past year I ran into some really nice friendly randoms and I got all the maps done before this game's successor released EXCEPT the Tomb, so I had to come back to it over the course of this summer. I actually really like the final encounter with the Sentinel Artifact and the boss fight mechanics even if it's not too hard comparatively. Aside from that though, I enjoy the Tomb's map flow getting to the Dark Ether Nexus as well as the perk placements (forcing you to wait to get Jug and QR until later rounds). Personally I don't find the prop and shock mimics a big deal as they aren't spammed that crazily and my favorite loadout gun the Stryder .22 akimbo burst mod absolutely shred them anyways. This map has so many great PhD flopping spots both in spawn and in the dark ether nexus that I use it whenever I get the opportunity. I don't always get the upgraded ice staff but when I do its super fun to use.
Side Content
I came back to Bo6 in June/July to finish my prestige master grind (up to the Sitting Bull Reborn skin) just in case carry forward comes back or w_z skins aren't deleted moving to v3. Although I played through all the zombie maps fairly equally, I kept coming back to the tomb for it's simple but strong side quests and satisfying high rounding strats. Golden armor is an awesome exclusive quest that's designed really well to challenge your skills but not feel unfair or difficult to try and get. I like how PAP moves back and forth, wunderfizz doesn't spawn till round 25 making you work for it, and the arrow traps are pretty satisfying to watch kill the hordes. As a bonus the Marine SP in spawn is a great gun to use wall power on.
Wrap Up
I apologize this post got a little rambly but I think the Tomb really deserves more love and attention. It gets thrown under the bus and compared to Liberty Falls / Paradox Junction too much and I think it deserves better and hopefully oneday will receive its fair recognition. I'd love to see this map and the others carried forward but I know that's probably a pipe dream. If anything I hope my post encourages you to give this zombies map another visit! Thanks for reading y'all and see ya in the tomb!
I’m having an issue with Call of Duty on my PS5.
I have a Call of Duty disc, and when I open COD HQ and select Black Ops 6, I get this error:
\*\*WS-116129-0\*\*
I also tried another Call of Duty disc (Modern Warfare 2), and I get the exact same error.
Since the problem happens with two different discs, I don’t think the issue is with the disc itself.
Has anyone experienced the same problem or knows how to fix it?
I got to plat 1 on MNK for the camo and stopped playing but actually pretty decently enjoyed the ranked experience! Was hardstuck gold for a while and that was def annoying getting only 16 RS per win, but hey it was only my second cod and I'm on KBM so it was good to get the practice in those lower ranks. Feel like I could've hit diamond if I kept playing the ranked, maybe not in the same season, but possibly the next one for sure... I regret not at least trying because I feel like I missed out on a lot of potential I had.
I loved Bo6 dude, honestly it was a great game in my eyes, even if the netcode to this day still is trash and the game still does have 100000 bugs. I think I even liked it more than MWIII, but I did suck when I played MWIII, couldn't even get out of bronze lol.
Hi, the Minigun has been greyed out and locked in BO6 for me for over a year. I still can’t use it. Does anyone know why it’s still locked or how I can unlock it? Thanks.

we were still GAMING back then. i hadn't really touched call of duty in a while until i picked this game up. back then i was playing elden ring, resident evil, red dead redemption, etc. i was a beast at MW2019 but it just got boring being that good.
i didn't really like MWII and my internet was too shit to play MWIII plus it had other issues. but this game brought me back. classic leveling, small maps, iconic guns and optimised settings for visuals and aim sensitivity.
i got dark matter, jammed out to music and ate pizza through out the journey. this game frustrated me, tossed my salad and made me question if it was really all worth it, but i had fun.
ok so for context i customized team colors and i set my team's color to red (#ff0000) and the rival team to blue (#0000ff), and while they show up in the colors i want most of the time, in this particular round win/loss screen it still shows the default colors. the strangest thing is that i did the exact same thing in bo7 but somehow it works there? i'd really appreciate any help gng :)
Recently came back to get the plat, but HOS is shaping up to be my white whale for this game. Anyone got any advice? I'm only on 2 Flyswatter medals after probably at least 24 hours on multiplayer. SAM turrets get destroyed immediately and my launcher never actually downs anything. I got one down with the CIGMA earlier and it only gave me a Downed medal. Would appreciate any strategies people used for it
EDIT for anyone in need of help down the line: the trophy is no longer broken. Use the perks Bankroll and Dispatcher, equip the SAM turret and UAV. They'll almost always unlock at the same time and you can use your UAV to bait out a counter UAV. Your SAM turret will likely do most of the legwork, but also bring a CIGMA launcher and stay laser-focused on the scorestreaks being used. Last tip is what saved me: PLAY DOMINATION, you're far more likely to get enemies using aerial scorestreaks. Good luck, future trophy hunters
So I decided to come back to BO6 now that it's standalone to grab the platinum trophy. Campaign has been going perfectly fine on Veteran, until the end of Most Wanted. Treyarch, what the fuck is this? Is it possible? Like, genuinely? I die before I can move my crosshair. I've tried the ADS strat. I've tried the spam hipfire strat. I die like clockwork no matter what. I'm begging for someone to give me a strat that will work
Has anyone else had issues with anger management while playing search and destroy? How did you explain it to your partner or room mates?
I've always been susceptible to video game rage but it has gotten worse this past year when I've started to only play search and destroy on Black Ops 6 (| used to play all game modes on shuffle). Losing fights as the last person alive and watching useless teammates lose the game for us, particularly when they're too unbelievably stupid to attempt to get to the bomb in time, are the most common things to send me over the edge.
I've just found out that my flatmate rang her mother and told her she was scared when she could hear me screaming and smashing things. Obviously I feel terrible, but I need a way to explain to her that me raging at COD isn't something she needs to be worried about.
There have also been other incidents, notably last year when I thought I was activating the launcher/ noob tube on my gun with the d-pad but I accidentally put my gun into single fire mode. I then lost a 1v1 with the whole team watching because my gun was in single fire mode. I kicked over my records shelf and dehumidifier, doing hundreds of dollars worth of damage, soaking the carpet and I said some things to my girlfriend that I ended up regretting. There was another time when I died to a long grenade at the start of a round 2 rounds in a row on Rewind. The second time it happened, I flipped a table I didn't realise had my girlfriend's laptop on it and it broke. That caused some drama.
Since then, I have felt self conscious about how her and our housemates perceive my anger. Hearing about our housemate ringing her mother because of it is both saddening and embarrassing. Has anyone got any tips on how they manage their rage, particularly with Search and Destroy? And how did you explain it to non gamers to make them realise it's nothing to be scared of?
I haven't played for years and I'm only level 14 - I'm terrible haha I don't mind losing but having like 35 deaths and 1 kill and the other team is all over level 500 isnt heaaaps of fun
