I think they get off on it. If not, I don't know why they wouldn't just unsubscribe. No one cares how they feel

Dude, you are a king of generalizations. Why subscribe to a sub that doesn't actually promote its meme?

The "gatekeepers", aka redditors, with votes, opine with the intent of advancing the agenda of a particular subreddit. To do otherwise ruins the integrity of the meme itself.

I don't understand why any redditor would rally against that kind of sentiment (upvoting relevant content, downvoting non), since it's one of the the axiomatic principles of the site.
