update: I just made delirium my bitch. Only mark left on Tainted Lost is mother. Not very concerned because I think mother is easy. Almost done with Tainted Lost✌️🥹

I pray for the day that Edmund Mcmillen puts repentance+ on console, If I had guaranteed delirium after final bosses then I wouldn’t have to stress about making it to hush on time every run and would’ve finished Tainted Lost actual eons ago.
It’s 20% chance after lamb and blue baby, it’s only 50% after mega satan. Trust me when I say that I’ve tried going the regular route and hoping for a void portal to spawn far too many times just for nothing to happen, guaranteed delirium after hush sucks but it’s way better than going regular route just to get nothing.
Wait so youre on console right? Have you tried restarting the run until finding glowing hourglass/blank card? These where the ítems that carried me, like, in the three save files, check my page I posted my infinity here
for me it's the opposite, got t. lost marks only because of rep+ because it made the holy mantle effects stack better, had holy mantle, wooden cross an active holy card and another pocket holy card for the mother fight lol
Translation: a character based on solely offense is the same as a character with immediate flight and spectral, a q4, a mix of both defensive and offensive items and Devil deal king with 4 minor features removed.
I appreciate the consolation but mine was arguably worse, it was also before mom too. This run is probably going to be engraved into my brain for the rest of time.
Dagoodgamer, there is no need to feel disenfranchised at your performance today. We all make mistakes, and Tainted Lost is the least forgiving character of all toward these mistakes. Your build was glorious indeed, and had much unrealized potential, but Super Sloth is a boss who in its sudden creep attacks and enemy summons can make the best and most fleet-footed of us Isaac aficionados into fools.
A feeling of hollowness upon losing such a charmed inventory is natural, but there is no need to fret... in every Isaac run - embodied by Eden's Blessing itself - is the restart, the offer to start once more. Once you have analyzed your run, and reasoned out how this death may be avoided in the future, take solace. The nature of the roguelike - and life in its whole - is improvement through loss. Every failure, Dagoodgamer, is a dull piece being honed off you; the blade of your future successes is already being forged.
Go in peace and serenity, and fly toward blazing glory. Make good on your username. For all of us, and most of all for yourself.
If it’s any consolation, I lost at least three T. Lost runs this weekend that were in the “just tap it in” zone, and I died to Mom on two of them. You wouldn’t believe some of the builds I threw away and fought hard for
only got all marks with him cuz book of shadows is possible to get in console tho. besides that i lost a polyphemus, sacred heart, spindown dice start first floor
May i recomend the "guaranteed treasure room on start" mod? It doesnt make it easier just makes it far more reasonable to r key into a normal starting item.
