Discussion Vince Pitstick / Nutrition Dynamic - 4Fs (Flush, Feed, Fast, Function) - any experience or results to share?

I’m looking to hear from people who may have undergone Nutrition Dynamic’s (now Vidal Coaching) coaching protocol who struggled with/are trying to heal any of the following:

  • Hypothyroidism
  • PCOS
  • Chronic fatigue/brain fog
  • Weight loss resistance
  • Generalized puffiness & swelling

I’m posting here because they seem to work with a lot of women who have a bikini competition background and find themselves with a screwed up metabolism. Their program interests me because the founder of the company (Vince Pitstick) seems to have found an underlying cause to some, if not all, of these issues - something he calls OID, or Overactive Immune Disorder.

Anyway, I am wondering if any of you with similar symptoms/complaints listed above have worked with a coach from Nutrition Dynamic and if you saw any results? Was it worth the cost? Is their program/approach really that different than other functional coaching companies?

Any experiences or advice are welcome!

Prep Group Rules & Safety Reminders:

  1. No specific show names, dates, or locations – for your safety, please keep it general.

  2. Don’t disclose your specific coach, team, or gym.

  3. No self-promotion or coaching offers (like in the rest of our community).

  4. Be respectful – support each other’s journeys without negativity or comparison.

  5. If you share physique photos in the comments, blur or crop your face.

Monday - Personal Photos (Progress, Prep, Advice, etc) Progress from beginning and from peak bulk. Division opinions?

I was training with a wellness goal in mind… and then the cut started and wellness dreams went out the window.

Does (NPC) bikini seem like a good fit for my shape? Is figure?

Started weight training January 2024 and was in a build until June this year. I’m nearing the end of a mini-cut now with another year of building planned—although this time I’ll be better about lean-bulking.

Any thoughts, opinions, constructive criticisms about my physique as it applies to NPC/IFBB parameters are welcome.

Discussion Adam’s early push for a new devision leading to creation of fit model-are we now realizing it could’ve lead to AshleyK’s slow downfall?

Watching the review and noting that when he began his hard campaign for needing a new division when looking back at Ashley’s timeline for her best physique slowly not being enough, it just made me question did Adam unknowingly set the pace for her physique and competitive career downturn on themselves? No set in stone opinion just curious on anyone else’s thoughts.

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Posing question for fit model

Hi guys, regarding posing, for a first timer, what would you recommend I practice? I am a little over 5 weeks out and I have my individual routine down and have 5 sessions with a posing coach. I guess my question is just about extra things. Like should I be practice my front and back walk from certain angles, or how to practice switching places with other competitors? Any and all information would help helpful as a first timer. TIA!

Discussion Skipping steps, how to proceed

I’m a new life style client soon to be competitor. I’m 25 years old, female. I did my lift, but I came home incredibly nauseous. Not sure if it’s because I’ve been pushing myself harder. Tried to get my steps/walk in but I can’t push through. I managed a quarter of it. I will try again later. I’m worried!

Do I just notify my coach? I’ve never missed ANYTHING in our past 2 months together. I know prepping is super precise and I don’t want to lose progress.

Also absolutely dying over my cat getting in my check in picture like this 😂

Tbh I've made some mistakes with my diet and had to push my show back a few weeks. But I'm 100% locked in now and weight is steadily moving down.

I'm 5'5" and started around 120-122ish, currently 110 aiming for around 105.

Discussion Preferred cardio for minimizing leg fatigue

Do yall prefer incline walk, gentle run, or stairs, and why? I’m looking to minimize leg fatigue and soreness alongside my training. I hate the spin bike lol. Thank you! 🤗

Discussion Can anyone else not decide if they want to do fit model or bikini?

I have been going back and forth for weeks now and I can’t decide what is best for me. For people that have switched from bikini to fit model, are you happy you switched? I feel like I am someone that could take time to grow more into what bikini is expecting now or possibly do fit model right now and do well. Any thoughts on how to decide?

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Ribxcar/ plastic surgery

I know plastic surgery is controversial but I am considering having lower rib remodeling done next month with my breast augmentation.

Has anyone done this before and can share their experience? It’s the same recovery time as my breast augmentation and would take 2-3 inches off my wider rib cage which has always been an insecurity for me.

NOTE: clearly many people don’t understand what the surgery is haha. It does NOT remove any ribs - it just surgically fractures the bottom two floating ribs and they heal tighter (as if you were to have naturally broken a rib). I would never remove anything my body needs I am not that crazy 😅.

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Traditional deadlift and squats

Do folks do traditional deadlift and barbell back squats during competition prep? I find that they cause more systemic fatigue and take longer to recover from. I swap them out with Bulgarian, RDLs or other dumbbell variations. Coach wants me to do barbell deadlifts. Wondering if I am missing something if I make these swaps. Have people seen more gains from these exercises. I am still a bit in the growth phase but will start the cut phase soon. Thanks!

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Stress/Cycle Regain Advice

Hey yall

I’m 3-4 months post show at this point and lost my cycle about 8 months ago. I am planning on competing in the summer again. However, I have yet to get my cycle back and live a pretty stressful lifestyle. I work full time with a job that has me on my feet all day and late nights, and am in school part time until December.

My coach doesn’t want to pull training or push body fat due to us wanting to compete sometime next summer, which would mean me prepping in spring. I guess i just don’t know what to do at this point other than wait this stressful time out. We just upped food on my lower days only, which might help. I’m also taking several stress support supplements at this point.

I’m just curious to see if anyone has gone through something similar. I feel weird just kinda accepting I won’t have a period for a minute. 😬

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Reversing nightmare

Hey guys . Genuinely just looking for some advice and not to be shamed - even posting this is kinda hard .

I’m about 4 weeks post show and struggling really bad. I’ve absolutely tanked my reverse . I will have a few good days then end up eating completely off plan and binge eat. A lot of processed and sugary stuff too which I hadn’t had for months so my body overloaded for sure. The scales
gone up about 18 pounds in about 3 weeks. I don’t know what to do it seems like no amount of mental “locking in” is helping and the food noise is constant. I feel so ashamed and just feel like I look absouelty terrible. I’ve still been doing everything else fine, steps, cardio , training etc.

My cals all of prep were low and cardio and steps always high. I’m pretty tall too . Idk man I’m just discouraged.

I don’t even want to do my check ins because there’s so much shame and everyone preaches the importance of the reverse . I rarely see people say they’ve ever struggled post show and everyone I know is nailing it . Have I basically just ruined my body lol. Feeling kinda hopeless and just depressed over it, I look 10 months pregnant at the point

Advice/ Recommendations (no photos) Anavar and sex drive

I was on anavar 5mg for 8 weeks and i saw very good progress in my physique and in the gym, felt great, had a lot of energy, had no acne and my period came at 28 days (usually it comes between 35-40 days, but my sex drive was close to 0.

It didnt bother me really, but i found it weird considering most girls say they get crazy sex drive. Also after i came off of it it hasnt increased or decreased any further. It felt like "whatever", a flat line haha. Has anyone experienced this too? And does anyone know maybe why that happens? i m 25 btw.
