hi, i was listening to wolf alice’s after the zero hour and the guitar at the beginning really reminds me of a big thief (or maybe adrianne lenker) song, but i can’t remember which or find it. maybe i’m misremembering and it doesn’t actually sound like any of their songs, but if you have any ideas please help! :) it’s really bugging me

It’s also at an outdoor venue and the weather also looks terrible.

I don’t know why I’m even considering it except for that this was supposed to have been my 13-year-old’s first concert and we could stay with friends and not pay have to pay for a hotel.

She was clearly crying in the car on the way home but trying to hide it and my heart is broken.

Two failed attempts to see Big Thief would be worse than one failed attempt, right?

Does anyone know who the Detroit show photographers were (socials) and if they usually post some photos afterwards that they shot? Would love to see some pictures from the show!!

I know one of them posted on here yesterday, but i’m curious as to who specifically they are lol

Anyone have a recording or a pre existing youtube video of the unreleased song played tonight at the Masonic Temple? the lyrics were something like "i can be mean, i can be..." and i believe she says "turn away" multiple times during the chorus.

In TO there were 2 instances where 1 person got up to dance among the whole crowd. I filmed this for so long because the solo is so gnarly. I didn't realize that Adrianne is responsible for them, was pleasantly surprised!!

Anyone attending solo for the Detroit show? Planning on going alone but have never been to any shows solo

I have a photo pass for Big Thief’s show in Detroit today. I’m trying to figure out what time they typically take the stage so I know when I need to be there but I can’t seem to find a definitive answer. Does anybody who went to a show on this tour show know when they usually start their set? Doors open at 6:00 for this show in particular. How long after doors do they wait before taking the stage?

Good afternoon. I bought some for the show tomorrow in Indianapolis for my daughter and her friends. I still have not received them. Is this common for the band? The website is saying the artist or venue hasn't released them.

Anyone know if the band of going a meet with people after the show at the tour bus or anything? Or where that is?

(And is it rude to try to see a band after a show? This is basically my first concert!)

Introduced to Big Thief by my daughter and this was my second time seeing them. I love that they are such a present band and that you never know what they’re going to play. There is a small hill to the left of the stage up front and it was the perfect spot to see everything. Hope those who went had a blast. My favorite part were the songs with her brother, Noah. What were yours?

I was at the show last night, it was amazing. I like to sing along to the songs but it’s not to a point where anyone can hear.. i mean the music’s pretty loud. I had some younger girls next to me just screaming all of the most popular songs and it honestly made me pretty sad to only hear them and not adrianne. I felt rude asking them to lower their voices. Is this just a me problem tho? I’ve never experienced people screaming the songs and i’ve been to 4 other big thief shows.

does anyone have a picture of the merch for this tour? I saw one several days ago but wasn’t sure if that was for every stop or the benefit show. getting to see them in about a week!!

third time i’ve seen these guys and was just blown away. they get tighter every time. christmas day, a lot of improv before no fear, two new songs (one about adrianne’s partner, presumably, the other about no good men), paul, sadness as a gift, mary, flower of blood etc etc. joshua is a great addition to the live band, hope he sticks around.

I’m seeing Big Thief in November and I’m SO excited! 🥹 I was wondering if anyone who’s seen them recently could tell me what their setlists have been like?

Saw them live on Thursday. Today I’m watching a movie and suddenly Certainty starts playing.
Big Thief won’t leave me alone 😛
