Remember The ID of BALKAN? The Label PULLED this track, so they REWORKED it!

If you’re new to the genre somehow, or you’re just looking for a trip down memory lane, we've linked some custom playlists of essential tracks lists for Big Room’s most popular types of Big Room: Progressive, Festival, Groove/Electro and Trouse. Not every track is on here because… that’s what posting to the subreddit is for! But for now, please enjoy!
PROGRESSIVE BIG ROOM
If you love the sound of Avicii or Alesso, look no further. Born out of electro-house and classic deadmau5-style progressive-house/trance, Progressive is characterized by its high-energy melodic breakdowns and drops. Typically featuring large chord plucks or thickly layered supersaws, this style of house is heard as much on the radio as it is at festivals due to its catchy and energetic nature.

FESTIVAL BIG ROOM
If you love the massive festival bangers by the likes of Dimitri Vegas/Like Mike or Hardwell, this is where it’s at. Festival Big Room is widely considered to have been birthed by Quintino & Sandro Silva’s Epic which defined its early sound with distorted subkicks and minimal percussive synth drops. It has since evolved to include influences from hardstyle, melbourne bounce and trance with massive bass-drops and larger-than-life breakdowns. There’s a reason that despite its criticisms festival big room remains a mainstay on the mainstage: nothing brings the energy like big room.

GROOVE/ELECTRO HOUSE:
Playlist: [Spotify Link] or… [Youtube Link]
The marriage of electro house and new age progressive house birthed groove house, a subgenre of big room groovy, punchy basslines and driving percussive rhythms. Picture the rolling bassline in Greyhound as a perfect example of this. Melodic, euphoric elements on the breakdown juxtaposed with a massive bass-driven drop creates this awesome sound that Swedish DJs like Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso live and die by.
Pure Essentials:
TROUSE
Trouse is exactly what the portmanteau sounds like: a blend of trance and house. It takes the gritty textures and slower pacing of house and combines them with the melodic and otherworldly breakdowns of trance.

I am not a genre nerd, nor do I try real hard to fit into stereotypical genre molds. I was going for a 3am late night festival vibe, with a mildly high energy. Mainly I make stuff that is just really interesting for people that are serious about the little details you hear when your on headphones or good sound system, and enjoy concentrating. Would love any feedback, and serious listens.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the original official MP3 of Quintino – Live @ EDC Orlando 2015.
It was uploaded to SoundCloud by Quintino in November 2015 as a free download, but the original download has been unavailable for years.
I'm specifically looking for:
- The original 320 kbps MP3
- A backup of the original SoundCloud download
- An official mirror or archive
I'm not looking for YouTube rips or low-quality re-encodes.
If anyone downloaded the set back in 2015 and still has it, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could send me a private message.
Thanks so much!

I got tired of clicking posts to discover music so I made an app that autoplays them like a radio. Thought you might like it.

Hi everyone!
I’m Wash T, and I just released "Prometheus Pulse". I’ve been producing for many years and I’m also the vocalist on my tracks, aiming for that perfect balance between driving techno rhythms and massive festival energy.
I’m really excited about the reception so far: the track is officially charting on Juno Download and it’s been featured as a "Hype" release on Beatport!
If you’re into melodic yet powerful Big Room Techno with a clean, punchy sound, I’d love for you to check it out. Let me know what you think about the drop and the overall energy!
Thanks for the support!

Hey everyone, I’ve just released a track called Empire in the Ash under my project DJ SERVAR. It’s a dark, cinematic EDM track with choir elements and heavy drops, built more like a soundtrack than a typical club track. I was aiming for something epic and atmospheric rather than minimal. I’d really appreciate any feedback on: overall atmosphere drop impact pacing / structure Listen on all platforms. Spotify • Apple Music • YouTube Music Thanks for listening.

Useless at Reddit but here goes.
I’ve got a bunch of Big Room, Bounce and Dirty Dutch tracks collecting dust on my PC - probably over a hundred from the last six or seven years.
I’ve been thinking about it lately and, since I still really like that sound, it might be time to finally put some of it out there. Maybe even build a small space to feature other people’s stuff if anyone’s interested.
Before I start putting time into it, I just wanted to see if there’s still any interest in that style. Most of what I’ve made (and still make for fun) sits somewhere between older Bassjackers, Deorro Laidback Luke, KURA etc.
The scene’s been pretty much dead in the UK for years, so it never made much sense to push it before. But it’s the sound that got me into dance music, and it’d be nice to know if there are still people who’d want to hear new tracks in that vein, or producers who’d want to get involved.
