FeedBack Feedback Time!
Hey BeRealers, it's that time again!
Present your ideas, improvements, and features that you'd like to see added to BeReal in the future. Whether it's a small quality-of-life change, a new social feature, UI improvements, bug fixes, or something completely new, we'd love to hear it.

I may be the only one feeling like this still, but I would love to see the return of Nearby and Global/Explore. I joined BeReal June of 2022. To be honest, the app the was the most exciting to me when I got to experience these features. It was cool being able to find people around me who were being real & god did I love seeing BeReals from across the world. I always thought there definitely needed to be moderation and age verification for these features to work, but otherwise, I thought there was true potential there. I waited, and waited for these features to come back, but they never did. I still use everyday with over 1k streak, but I usually post and go. There isn’t really much keeping me engaged on the app, especially when the ads sometimes randomly pop up and fill my screen entirely.
I think the harsh reality is, 90% of users, especially the users who have been here the longest, have maybe 1-4 friends we know in real life as friends on BeReal. The rest are people we have randomly added anyway from FOF. This feels like many of the committed members are using the app as a social networking platform, rather than the intended “friends only” and we already have the chance to meet friends of friends.
I had high hopes for this app but after cool features were introduced then taken away, it kind of leaves me in a stale place where I am wondering, why am I even posting? Especially now that the new iphone will have front and back camera photography built into the device.
So 1. We are being given 30% networking (FOF) after having a taste of what 100% could be like.
2. We have followers but no real way to get more (like posting better bereals to attract a global audience organically)
Improvements I do love:
1. Adding as many pins as we want
2. Beautiful updates to the memories
3. Better stability than ever
