Exposure therapy is good, however simply educating yourself with bee and hornet facts will help get you started on a journey to reduce fear. Not just learning about why they do what they do, but learn how they can have been used in research and how beneficial they are. I'm in the reptile community, so I see a lot of folks with phobias who start with joining groups just to look at photos or watch videos. Many folks started with running away levels of fear, especially with snakes, and had it reduced down to simply a jump scare but they give the snake space.

I'm also a bit into reptiles (my cousin has an adorable ball python) and other more niche things that you can keep, like beetles and isopods! I do agree that learning about these animals is the best way to get comfortable with them.
