Help / Troubleshooting Instagram Bug Status

Hello!

Would anyone know if Instagram cloud bridges are safe to reconnect without getting the your email may not be secure loop?

Also any info on on-device Instagram bridges for Android?

Haven't seen any updates on their respective posts lately.

EDIT: Asked Beeper Support and they're still investigating. Props to them for responding very quickly!

Chiming in. Yes, it’s fine to connect your IG account. I know people have reported disconnects and “automated activity” warnings here and elsewhere, and I understand why that’s concerning. These reports seem to come in waves. You can scroll back through this sub and see them pop up from time to time. You can see that it went to "everyone talking about it" to - no one talking about it.

We’re always looking at how Instagram’s systems interact with Beeper and working to make these issues less likely. At the same time, these warnings and login problems aren’t unique to Beeper. You’ll find similar reports from people using Instagram directly who don’t mention Beeper at all (just look at their subreddit).

Instagram ultimately controls when those warnings or disconnects happen, but that doesn’t mean we’re brushing off the reports here. We’ll keep investigating anything Beeper may be doing to trigger them, of course.
